My husband bought a new car from this dealership and he loves it. He came in and got his car appraised but the first time the numbers were close but cj.and the team said they would work on it. He kept in contact with was and finally my husband was sitting here and he got the phone call at 6 pm and he said its cj and I.know its good news. I seen him smile and look at me and said I have to leave now so I can get the car. Needless to say he came hone with is so happy. Thank you all for doing all you did to get him into this car. I drove out to Sands Hill from NJ because of a particular mid-size truck I have been looking for; they were advertising the pickup truck online. Found the vehicle we were looking for online, came to the dealership, was very pleased with the sales crew,They were very knowlegable on the make and the history of the ford, I was purchasing, it was just a dealership, was very pleased with the sales crew,They were very knowlegable on the make and the history of the ford, I was purchasing, it was just a great experience just like their great amostopher, it was like doing business with an old friend. Best car dealership I have ever been to, and I have been to quite a few. Everything was very smooth from my first phone call speaking with Matt to sitting down with Bob and Josh. I actually drove about 40 minutes just to buy a car from Sands Ford. I believe these guys were the most honest, ethical car guys I have ever met. My husband and I have purchased several cars in the 8 years we have been together. From a Nissan to a Chevy, and a few Fords. This was the first time we purchased from Sands. Considering I do not enjoy car shopping! Our salesman Mark made it an enjoyable experience from the moment we met him until we left. We had a good time actually doing something I'm not fond of. When it came to price, they showed us how they discount their vehicles upfront, online for all to see and that made us comfortable in knowing we paid a fair price. Normally I hate that part. Why did we buy from Sands? We got the best treatment ever at a car dealership!!! Good luck if you decide to shop elsewhere... Penny Tufaro More
Horrible customer service!! The gentleman had no clue about the vehicle I was looking at. He never even told me the car had remote start. None of the other salesmen even said hello when I walked in the d about the vehicle I was looking at. He never even told me the car had remote start. None of the other salesmen even said hello when I walked in the door. I guess they figured because I was a younger woman with a child with me I didn't have the funds to buy. I did work the deal because I did my own research and paid CASH for the car. I've never been to a dealership where they don't take credit cards for more than 500 dollars, and they don't take personal checks! I had to drive 45 min to my bank to get cash or a cashier check. When I came back no one greeted me yet again. After signing all the paper work I went to leave and there was no license plate on the back of the vehicle I just purchased!!! I had to go back in and CJ was no where to be found and get another sales rep to get me a license plate. If I wasn't in love with the vehicle I would of left! The men that work there are low class in my eyes. I've never walked into a dealership even a store with out a simple Hello?? After reading other reviews on different websites after purchasing this vehicle it seems this isn't the 1st bad review they have gotten on customer service. Most bad reviews are women stating this. I guess if I would of gone in there with my husband I would of been treated better. Sorry I'm an independent women who's father raised her with knowledge of cars and how to work a deal and pay cash for a car. I was definitely judge like a book. I came in with my daughter and these sell reps showed my 12 year old what iggnorance is. I would rate them a zero on the customer service level. More
I was very interested in buying an Explorer and since Sands Ford is close I thought I would contact them and let them know my interest. I stopped over late morning and noticed the salesperson I was supposed to deal with was not at his desk. Just a group of other sales people joking around. I thought nothing of it. When I finally contacted the person I had an appointment with he took me outside to show me the vehicle I was interested in. Then promptly said sorry I don't have time for you. I could see if I walked in off the street but I told him what type of vehicle I was looking for and what time I would be there. He gave me the keys saying he didn't have time and for me to take it for a test drive. When I returned he was outside talking with the same group of people and said he would be inside shortly. My son and I waited 30 minutes inside and he still didn't come in. Apparently he wasn't interested in making a sale. Shame since I had my title and checkbook with me. If that’s the type of Customer Service Sands Ford provides I will not be going back there. More
bought a used truck.Brought it back due to a noise in rear.found a leak took 3 weeks to hear back from some one to get it fixed.Brought it back to get fixed .They clamed they fixed it ,but problem is wor rear.found a leak took 3 weeks to hear back from some one to get it fixed.Brought it back to get fixed .They clamed they fixed it ,but problem is worse .I would not recomend them.Brought it to another dealer they found the rear to be empty.Watch out they will take your money and run................. I'm giving them an all 5 star review. I wasn't really on the market for a car but after seeing a nice mini cooper on their lot I decided to stop in and check it out. Salesman Mark came over and right from t the market for a car but after seeing a nice mini cooper on their lot I decided to stop in and check it out. Salesman Mark came over and right from the beginning was very pleasant to work with. We took the car out for a test drive and everything went well. Upon returning to the dealer we started trying to work out a deal. I informed him my credit was not really to good, he told me we can fill out a credit app and just see what they could do for me. This was on this past Saturday, they came back with some numbersand told me that I had been pre approved with my credit. I won't go into exact numbers but the down payment was a little high for me but we were able to work all of the numbers in the end. They were able to meet me at a comfortable number for the both of us even though my credit wasn't good they were still willing to work with me and not take advantage of my situation like most other dealers would do. I told them I had to talk it over with my wife first and I would get back with them either that day or Monday, they said okay without any pushiness salesman tacticswhich really impressed me. I talked it over with the wife and I returned Monday morning and we started the paperwork. All in all they were all very helpfull and understanding, they worked and delt with me the same as anyone else there and didn't treat me any different just because of my credit. They were very helpfull and Mark my salesman was a great guy to deal withand I highly recomend him and Red Hill Ford if you are on the market and even if you aren't just to check them out like I did and they helped me to be driving a car I have wanted since they came out.
