Great Car Buying Eperience After months of internet research and visiting local dealerships for reliable and clean used vehicles, I decided to visit Sands Ford. It was my first visit to the dealership, which is regrettable because the customer service was outstanding. When I was looking around at the vehicles in the lot, Tom Burrell introduced himself and was exceedingly helpful. I told him exactly what I was looking for; he answered my questions with courtesy and knowledge and not with tactical shady salesmanship as so many other dealerships do. After doing more research about the dealership and seeing other vehicles in their inventory, I leaned more towards a 2014 Focus. I returned later that afternoon to the dealership, and was assisted by Ian for a few moments while Tom was briefly out of the office. Ian gave me a test drive of the 2014 Ford Focus, and further assisted until Tom returned. Both of these guys were exceedingly courteous and knowledgeable, and at this point decided on the Focus. I already had financing and insurance worked out with my own bank, which took the stress out of the numbers aspect of the deal. Tom still wanted to see if they could get me a better deal than what I had worked out with my own bank (as I have USAA, they came close but it's very hard to beat USAA's financing and coverage plans). All in all, this was my fourth Ford vehicle purchase and sixth vehicle purchase. I can say that this was, by far, the least stressful and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever experienced. More
