Mr. Campbell - First, thank you for your service to our country, we are free to do what we do everyday because of what you do for our country. Second, please forgive my greeting as I do not know your rank to address you properly. Third, our Sales Consultant would be happy to provide you an out the door / drive out price on any vehicle in our inventory. If there was confusion, it was simply because you wanted a final number before visiting our dealership or speaking with a finance manager to make sure we have all taxes, fees, etc. correct for where you live / would like to title the vehicle. The last thing we want is to give a customer a total amount due and then have that amount change when all of the details are finalized. Our Sales Consultant has attempted to reach out and has not received a reply back; we would still like to assist you in finding a great Toyota Camry if you are still in the market.

While I appreciate your response, I just did a test and from bringing up the internet to getting the Tax rate it took less than a minute and a half. Allow for two minutes of discussion and two to walk back go the office, and considering I never did get the drive out price I still see a problem and the salesman was informed of the county I live in. Although he did have time to explain how your dealership does vehicle reservations and that 85% of your customers like it. I try to buy cars from New car dealers since they previously could be counted on to carry a better grade of vehicle, such as certified. I am a picky customer, but likewise when I get that extra service, I publicize that and provide praise to the company,

Chris - We apologize for any miscommunication with your service advisor regarding your visit to our dealership. Your 2021 RAV4 had 31,568 miles when you brought it to San Marcos Toyota; the services recommended, approved, and performed on your vehicle are the services recommended by Toyota at the 30k interval; engine oil and filter change, engine air filter change, cabin air filter replacement, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection. An estimate of $265.09 was provided when you checked in your RAV4, was approved, and was within $6.50 of the $299.30 total invoice (includes shop supplies and sales tax). We also recommended two additional services to keep your RAV4 in excellent condition; a brake fluid exchange and a fuel system / fuel injector service; however, both of these services were declined. Again, we apologize for any miscommunication between the estimate for your RAV4's recommended 30k service, work approved, work declined, and work performed. Should you choose to use our dealership again in the future and have any concerns about your visit, please know a member of our service management team would be more than happy to discuss your concerns and come to a resolution.
