After working with both Tani and Phil at SF Toyota, they made it worth our while to buy now, but were never pushy about it! Incredibly generous with the trade-in value of our old Corolla and ridiculously helpful and accommodating, both Phil and Tani made the process really easy for us. Phil even came in on his day off so we could pick up the car the minute it was ready. We love our new car and got exactly what we wanted. Based on our experiences with both the service and sales departments at SF Toyota, we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the SF Toyota crew. More

I am on my second Toyota and can't be happier with the quality of the vehicle, ( 2010 Rav4), but more importantly, with the staff of the Van Ness Service Department. I always try to pre-book my appointments on line, which turns out to be a great time saver. I am always greeted by name, and treated with courtesy. All my ( sometimes lame), questions are thouroghly answered before any work is even written up. They are always more than willing to accomodate any time restraints I have. The quality of the work is always 5 star. You don't get to see the actual service technicians, but I would like to thank them as well. Let's face it,no one REALLY likes to take their car in for service, but if you have to, I strongly suggest SF Toyota. I am partial to the Van Ness location because I had such a positive sales experience there when I bought my first Toyota. More
I recently brought my 2007 Camry Hybrid for trade in. I wanted a Toyota that I could live with here in San Francisco, but also one that I could drive to the Baja where I live part of each year. I ended up wanted a Toyota that I could live with here in San Francisco, but also one that I could drive to the Baja where I live part of each year. I ended up driving out with a 2011 Hybrid Highlander, and I couldn't be more pleased. It has a similar drive feel and luxury to my Hybrid Camry, and yet has the heft, visibility and capacity of a truck. In what was a great experience all the way around, including all of the Toyota service reps from the managers to the fellow who processed the paper work, I was especially impressed with Bruce Manning, my sales rep. He patiently took me through the process of comparing different all-wheel drive vehicles, and encouraged me to give the Highlander a drive, in spite of the fact I thought it would be too large for my garage. (It fit, no problem!) But the best part of the process was after the trade and sale was processed, Bruce had the car completely prepped for my pick up, and then he spent all the time necessary to teach me EVERYTHING about the audio/GPS/heating and cooling.... the entire operations available in this vehicle. I owe the extreme enjoyment of my new car this past week to that extensive training before I left the showroom. The only low point was the pricing. I thought my trade was what I expected - my Camry had very low millage and was in great condition- but because this Highlander was a slightly pre-wned vehicle (only 1,200 m.) I expected Russ to have a little more space and give me a price break. I guess he felt like he had all the cards, since the Highlanders are so desirable. I'm a loyal SFToyota client... love their service department, and now look forward to many more years of a relationship there. Thanks SF Toyota. More
I live in San Francisco and had been looking for a used Corolla for my daughter, who attends college in Los Angeles. When I located the car I ultimately purchased (on March 14, 2011), at SF Toyota on Van N Corolla for my daughter, who attends college in Los Angeles. When I located the car I ultimately purchased (on March 14, 2011), at SF Toyota on Van Ness, Bruce Manning did an excellent job of making sure the car met my daughter's expectations. A 2008 vehicle, it did not come with an MP3 player jack, a necessity for young people who listen to music today. He offered to have the jack installed and made sure the car was ready when my daughter arrived later in the week to pick it up. He also facilitated communication with our insurance carrier, to be sure the necessary paperwork was at the dealership so she could drive the car away. He understood she had a small window of time to fly up to San Francisco, pick up the car, and drive back for school and her job. He also arranged for Kevin Duong at SF Toyota to be ready with all necessary paperwork the morning she arrived. Mr. Duong was thoroughly attentive to all the details. This was a purchase I made for my daughter, but as an adult and the legal owner of the car, she signed all the papers as I watched. Mr. Duong explained everything very carefully and made sure she was comfortable and understood the transaction. All in all, I would like to compliment the folks at SF Toyota. I'm happy to recommend them and also appreciate the follow-up phone call from Mr. Manning. Also, for your information, I found the car online, placed there by Edwin Tan, who was also very helpful. After purchasing the car, he stayed with me for over 30 minutes to make sure my paperwork would be submitted properly. He delivered my car to work and spent time explaining how the car worked for at least 30 minutes. He never rushed me and he took the time to make sure I knew how to navigate my car. It really made me feel like a valued customer. More
