Botched repairs, no reimbursement Drove cross country to purchased '17 F350. On the way back, the tailgate kept dropping randomly. Thought I accidentally was pushing the release butt Drove cross country to purchased '17 F350. On the way back, the tailgate kept dropping randomly. Thought I accidentally was pushing the release button but by the time we made it to our destination it was obvious there was a problem. Turns out there was a recall, turns out Sames Ford performed the recall 7 days before we picked up the truck, turns out they severely botched the job...pics to prove it. Not only was the specific recall items messed up, but they had damaged two wiring harnesses beyond repair. Had a good, reputable, honest Ford dealer repair and redo the recall. Works like a charm ever since. Sames Ford had the xxxxx to tell me I should have brought the truck to them for repairs...remember by this time I'm 1,800 miles away! Refused to take any financial responsibility for their shoddy work. My truck is now operating as it should, but I'm out the cost of repairs to make it right. Sames Ford in Corpus Christi, TX?
