This is not against Jeremy; he is kind of the middleman that ends up having to take the brunt of the bad things while the managers at Sames do some of the craziest things I've ever seen. I showed intere that ends up having to take the brunt of the bad things while the managers at Sames do some of the craziest things I've ever seen. I showed interest in a used vehicle and mentioned I had been eyeballing a Timberline on Carmax. Mark says "Ok sounds good. Douglas if anything we would just like an opportunity to offer you more than carfax and carmax as well. Even if you do not buy anything we will still buy your vehicle to help. We need some quality pre owned vehicles for our used car lot right now." I then brought up that there was a new Explorer Timberline at Sames in McAllen, TX for around $49k (I even sent the link to the vehicle), and he responded with, "Ok we can defintely try and get that Timberline here for you Douglas. You said next weekend is when you will be available to come by?" I told him "we can do pre-approval process to ensure that I qualify (should be no issue), then work on moving the car here. That work for you?" He says "Yes sir that works. We can start working the deal for you before you even come in and get everything done for you ahead of time". I send in my preapproval, then get an email from Jeremy saying I need to agree to terms prior them getting the vehicle up here. I called and talked to Mark to set things straight, he said the same thing. I explained to Jeremy that via email, there was nothing about agreeing to terms and that an agreement had already been made to get it up for a test drive and I HAD TO SLOW IT DOWN. Got a call from the random sales manager that I can't remember his name, he asked which one I was looking at, that was the extent of the conversation. Cue to the next morning. I get, well, I'm going to call it an insult, because that wasn't an offer. Says "market price" is $55k. First, that is above MSRP and way over current market price, especially since IT WAS LISTED AT SAMES IN MCALLEN FOR $49k!!!! It is a tank of gas there and back!!! Call it maybe $50. They had a bunch of options, let's just list them: Wheel Locks $295 (these are cheap af at any auto parts store, they're just lug nuts with a different pattern), Nitrogen $95, that is a joke right? Window Tint $495, can get it from a good tint place for $300, why would I pay you $495?!?! LuxCare Complete $795, xxx is this and why is it $800?!?!. Oh, and trade allowance was $21k, which is BELOW every offer I had already received. I was told those options were already put on the vehicle by Sames in McAllen and CC could do nothing about them. I later confirmed, that is what Jeremy's manager told him. I called Sames in McAllen and they confirmed what I had already suspected, they were optional, and not placed on all of their vehicles on the lot. If you want to be jerked around, lied to, then insulted. Go ahead. I bought my car from there 2 years ago, but I walked away...I should say RAN away, this time. More

Working most of 2/28/24 with Chris and James to purchase a '21 F150. Told them heading there on 2/29 (from Houston ~3.5 hrs), had to go to credit union as soon as they opened to get down payment. They said a '21 F150. Told them heading there on 2/29 (from Houston ~3.5 hrs), had to go to credit union as soon as they opened to get down payment. They said they would hold the truck. (Have all the texts.) An hour out from arrival, they texted that the truck sold. Excuse was that "they" sold it out from under "them". We'll never know the truth but do know we don't want to do business with a company that doesn't have clear communication with each other much less the customer, and where dollar signs are more important than people. That always shows up in quality of service. This being the perfect example. Unfortunately, we should've read some of the google, yelp, etc. reviews first. Sadly, this contributes to the stigma of why people don't like car dealerships. Do better, be better! More

Very impressed with our salesman, Jermey Valdez. Jermey was very knowledgeable, patient, positive and not pushy. We were just looking when he came up to us and we left buying a new truck.
