Understood. I logged on now to modify the review to remove the "thieves" comment as I gave my word that I would. Like I said when we met, that was uncalled for and I will remove it regardless of how the discussion continued. Equally, I have not and will not make disparaging comments about you/your sister or your salesman with whom we worked. At the moment it doesn't appear that I am able to do so, I assume that is due to an appeal on your behalf. If I am mistaken please help me with that bit. I am writing in response to this review. There is much more to this story then what has been explained. During the first service visit the vehicle was actually here to resolve a check engine light issue and the vehicle was also running rough. The customer had already had this issue diagnosed at another garage and they had attempted a repair that did not fix the problem. After our diagnosis it was determined there was a GM special policy that extended the warranty coverage for this repair. We then proceeded with the repair at no cost to the customer. While completing this repair, we recommended that the vehicle was due for an oil change, the customer agreed and authorized the work. Unfortunately, by the time we completed the initial repair and the subsequent oil change, we were into the 4:00 hour and therefore the work was not done until it was dark out. We apologized for the inconvenience . The next issue the customer had involved the rear lift gate. Due to miscommunication on our end, we were under the impression that the rear lift gate would not open; therefore, we assumed that it would be necessary to remove the rear panel of the lift gate in order to gain access to the internal latch mechanism. Unfortunately, the actual problem was that the lift gate would not stay open...a far more straighforward repair involving only a replacement of the rear lift gate pistons. As you can see there was more to the story, however, we feel that this was a result of poor communication on our part and accept full responsibility. Thanks, Steve Salvadore General Manager
