Hello Steve: Thank you for the response. I really did not want to go about it this way to get a response. I just do not operate that way, however, as I stated in my review I called within 4 days of the original service, then after I spoke to Rick I never received a call back. I called several times, but whomever took my message either never gave it to Rick, or Rick got the message and never returned my call. I will contact Rick tomorrow and hopefully we can get this resolved. Sincerely, Matt Boudreau

Hi Steve: I just finished speaking with Rick, we decided to just bring in the car in April and he would install the door module as the other mechanic diagnosed and make sure everything is working correctly. As I said I am sorry it came to this. I have no problem paying to diagnose for an issue if it's diagnosed correctly. However, even though I do not know what actually happened with your mechanic, I do not think he took the time or effort to really find out what the real problem was. After speaking with Rick, I guess your mechanic said the mirror was smashed or broken, I only had the car for 2 weeks, when I received the car the mirror wasn't working, however it was not broken as he stated. Regardless, I edited the review and in the spring hopefully everything will be resolved. Thank you for your time in resolving this issue. Sincerely, Matt Boudreau

We are very sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience when you were at our dealership. We don’t make a habit of misleading our customers in any fashion and don’t believe in the “bait and switch” method. Per our process at the dealership whenever a lead comes in our Internet Specialist Glenn speaks with the customer in order to answer any questions and attempt to set an appointment for a sales consultant to then meet with the customer and show them the best vehicle for them. Glenn does not sell vehicles and usually isn't present for the appointment as it is then in the hands of the sales consultant. There was an email sent out with your sales consultants name on it, that Glenn is usually really good about mentioning when setting appointments allowing you to know who you are meeting with prior to arrival. As far as the “bait and switch” It shows your lead came over on the program that deals with Chevrolet Cruzes and Chevrolet Sonics and does not apply directly to Silverados. Once reaching the dealership it was determined you were looking for the Silverado under this program which that vehicles does not apply to this program. Again we are sorry for the confusion we try to be as clear as possible when it comes to these factory programs and instructions over the phone but sometimes things get miss communicated. Again we apologize for any inconvenience, thank you!

There was no "confusion" as to what we were told! Salvadore's has had a bad reputation in Gardner for as long as I can remember. Against better judgment we tried it. Well you lived up to your reputation.

I am writing in response to this review. This was an unfortunate chain of events on our part. Glenn is our internet specialist and does not sell cars or meet with customers and we did not relay this properly to the customer. Therefore the customer came in looking for Glenn and he had left for the day. We appoligize for this happening and are very sorry for the inconvience we caused. Due to this we have learned from our mistake and have changed our process to be more simplified and customer friendly. Being a long time local business here is Gardner we are always looking for ways to improve and better serve our customers. Thanks, Steve Salvadore General Manager
