Completely exceeded expectations My wife had shopped hard for a car about a year ago finally deciding the buy a Genesis. She put the sales people at Salinas Hyundai through their paces. I recently decided that I wanted to look at buying a Hyundai in place of my current car, a mini. Initially, I thought that I wanted a Genesis Coupe. Upon doing some research and chatting with the Salinas Hyundai sales people, it became clear that the Coupe would not meet my expectations. My attention turned to the Elantra. When I arrived on site for a test drive, my wife insisted and the salesperson suggested that I try the Sonata. I first tried the "basic". My reaction was "ok, it's a nice car and certainly much better than what I was currently driving." However, I didn't hear any "singing". I next tried the "sport" model. My reaction was "where have you been all my life?" There was a problem. The dealer didn't have and couldn't upon a very search, find the model colour (Venetian red) that would "make" the deal. By midday on the following day, we were at the dealership signing papers and taking delivery. The salesperson, Peter Duran, with whom we worked was superb. He is very professional, knowledgeable and patient. More
