I was torn between the Ford Edge and a Mazda CX-5 from a different dealership. I dragged my feet because I was dreading the whole car buying process and always feeling like I was being ripped off. I finally decided to make an appointment to test drive the Edge and Lauren kindly set up the test drive. The day of my test drive I went into the dealership earlier than scheduled and Lauren was able to accommodate me and directed me to Bob Cerzo. Bob was truly a pleasure to work with and even went as far as to help me compare the Edge to the Mazda CX-5 I was considering. He wasn't pushy and honest and allowed me to digest the pricing and features so I could make an informed decision. I left the dealership after my test drive and had a chance to think about the purchase and work the numbers in my head so I could walk away feeling like I got a good deal. I returned that afternoon and felt 100% comfortable moving forward and purchased the Ford Edge which was truly the vehicle I wanted to purchase. Bob made the experience very easy and walked me through everything calmly and addressed all my questions. It was nice to walk in to the dealership and actually feel like they had my best interest and weren't trying to fulfill a month end quota. I would highly recommend him and their establishment and when I am ready to upgrade I will definitely return there to purchase another vehicle. I also have a Ford Focus which I purchased 2 years ago from a different dealership but didn't have the same experience. I take my Focus to Salerno Duane for service and Dina at the service department is a pleasure to deal with. The team at Salerno is a genuine example of what excellent customer service should be. I found the car I wanted at Salerno-Duane and was connected to Bob - when I say that my experience was overwhelming positive, that truly is an understatement. Bob was professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond trying to assist me throughout the car buying process to insure that my experience was as pleasant as buying a car could be. I was most impressed when not only did the dealership contact me to initially apologize that one vehicle that I was interested in was no longer available (as I was leaving to go to the dealership for a test drive), but that Bob contacted me himself to make sure that I received the message and personally apologize. This is service that is taken for granted and quite frankly, just doesn't happen anymore. Not only did I purchase my vehicle through Salerno-Duane and Bob, but they actually made the experience pleasant. Where I dreaded the whole buying process, they made the purchase easy and seamless - I was truly excited knowing that I would be getting a new vehicle and that I was dealing with an upstanding, respectable dealership. It is refreshing to see that customer service is not just a word but a belief - something that is missing from most dealerships today.
