Bad Experience Overall Reviewed used car with sales consultant and later attempted to verify features on the vehicle with and here is my communication: 1. The 5 digit f Reviewed used car with sales consultant and later attempted to verify features on the vehicle with and here is my communication: 1. The 5 digit factory code needed to program the SecuriCode Keyless Entry Keypad was never provided with your attempt to resolve it by saying: "There is usually a plastic card the size of a credit card that has the 5-digit SecuriCode Keyless Entry Code. That card is normally in your Owner's Manual Kit. If it is not there we can get the code for you, but we need to physically have the car for about 15 minutes to access the code. Once that code is determined you can then change the code to any 5 - digit number" The card was not in the vehicle and I should drive 100 miles to have you provide it. 2. After you personally demonstrated the Hands-Free Liftgate Operation on the vehicle I bought and my inability to later duplicate it you then tell me: "The Escape Titanium does have the Hands Free Lift Gate. You need to have the Key Fob within a few feet of the vehicle. Then simply use a slight kicking / sweeping motion with your foot under the rear bumper and the Lift Gate will open" And after repeated attempts and contact you then then tell me: "I checked your specific vehicle through our Service Manager for the options in question: 1) Does not have the Hands Free Lift gate. This was a "late availability" option for the 2014 model year meaning that it was not available when your vehicle was manufactured". Your demo of the feature was a good trick that I too can duplicate with the key in my hand. 3. After meeting you and describing the reason for my desire to purchase a vehicle to assist me at 77 years old with rear view camera, front and rear sensors and Blind Spot Information System I find out from you after purchasing the vehicle and attempting to engage the features you tell me: "I checked your specific vehicle through our Service Manager for the options in question: 2) Does not have the electronic Blind Spot Information System (BLIS). The vehicle does have the embedded blind spot mirror in each side-view mirror. The worse is Salerno Duane's offer to BuyBack the vehicle and that too is now a nightmare: Not withstanding my attempt to accommodate the return and agreed Buyback of the vehicle I am told this morning, after driving over 100 miles and leaving the vehicle in the possession of Salerno Duane, that the refund amount of $22,270.41 can not be paid until I receive the title and sign it over to Salerno Duane. That the described offer of Buyback and my two notifications of the date of the return of the vehicle never once prompting the Sale Consultant to notify me of that fact is totally unacceptable, especially considering that the vehicle was accepted by Salerno Duane and remains in their possession In addition I was also told that any attempt for Salerno Duane to intercede with DMV was not possible due to the Columbus Day holiday. Again, not withstanding my acceptance of the Buyback offer in writing given October 6th, no attempt was made by Salerno Duane to contact DMV at that time permitting them to proceed with their offer and refund my purchase today 4 days after accepting the offer. Again, unacceptable and further proof of the total disregard of any consideration of the buyer. Needless to say the unprofessional behavior and failure to abide by their commitment to complete the buyback of the vehicle today was already evident in the entire purchase experience as I noted in the numerous issues raised by me since the purchase which remained unresolved with false and incorrect statements made by the Sales Consultant, which I am attaching I cannot accept that I legally have no vehicle, no proof of ownership and no refund of my purchase price.
