They kept informed of the time frame for that day’s service. I was listening to see how other customers were being treated by the entire staff and I felt they were helpful and not trying to push unnecessary work. This will be the third time I am being asked to review the first appointment I had with Rye Subaru. My first appointment was for oil/tire rotation. I also needed service and an explanation on the cause of the first appointment I had with Rye Subaru. My first appointment was for oil/tire rotation. I also needed service and an explanation on the cause of the RT passenger electric window not seating and closing intermittently. When told service was done and car was ready, I paid bill and walked out to where I was told to find car. In previous dealers, the service adv walks you out for any additional questions. I was once with a dealer in Duchess County who washes the cars after all services were completed. Upon getting in the car, I noticed it did not have a paper floor mat that all dealers have always used. I first noticed the odor of the WD40 used to apparently retrack the electric window. I ran it up and down a few times and it seemed to work as it should. As of this writing, the electric window has been operating as it should. I was disappointed with the over spray left on the door panel. Later that afternoon, as I walked around the car, I was in awe to find several full-size Oil fingerprints at the edge of the hood where one would be to close it. So, it seems this shop is much in a hurry to complete the work requested and not take a few extra minutes to back track and do some necessary touchup cleaning. After seeing this, I am not in any hurry to come back here for service. I have two other dealerships in my area which I can easily get to more quickly. I did not get any feedback from the previous reviews I've completed. Apparently, this type of issue is not on their radar to address. During the purchase process of my Legacy, I had a good feeling about this dealership. Especially because of the area of it serves. My Sales rep was outstanding during the purchase process. I felt the service dept. would be just as good. It wasn't. More
