Shop Anywhere Else Do not waste your time. We called Rydell on Thursday to set up an appointment to purchase a vehicle we found online. The sales rep (Craig Croaker) Do not waste your time. We called Rydell on Thursday to set up an appointment to purchase a vehicle we found online. The sales rep (Craig Croaker) said the vehicle was unavailable at the time because it was brand new to them and still under inspection, so we were instructed to call first thing in the morning so they could get us an appointment to see it. We called right at Rydell’s opening time (8 a.m.) Friday. Croaker asked us to come in at 11. We were on time, (not to mention we paid a babysitter to ensure the process went as timely and smoothly as possible) only to have him tell us there was a “problem”. The problem turned out to be that another sales rep had set up an appointment for someone else to see the vehicle, and according to Rydell management (Ben Knudson), “hidden” (his words) not only the keys, but also the vehicle. No one was able to tell me exactly what that meant. Despite the other party’s appointment not being until 12:30PM, we were not allowed to see the vehicle Rydell had scheduled us an appointment to see. I asked what we could have done differently or what they recommend shoppers do to avoid this mishap. Knudson tells me “this happens” and “with 30+ salesmen, it actually happens at least once every 3 months”. Actual quotes. Kathy Lind, the customer service manager, followed up by calling my husband (unsolicited) many hours later on Friday, saying she was told about the situation by Knudson and “shocked”, telling us she’s never heard of it happening to anyone. However, the dealership did nothing to rectify the situation. Kathy offered an unsatisfactory deal on a vehicle we had no interest in. We followed up with a counter offer (that would have cost dealership less than $1,000; we certainly weren’t asking for a free vehicle) and were promised a call on Monday. We waited all day for a call that never came. Now another day is half over, and no response from Rydell. Unreal. More

Justin Bjarnason was our salesman and he went above and beyond what we expected! He was thorough and upfront with everything! He made sure we had our minds set on the right vehicle! He kept asking us if we wanted to see anymore vehicles because his ultimate goal was to be 100% sure we loved the vehicle we were going to purchase. We had no pressure from him into buying the Acadia. I say that because we had decided to go with the Acadia if we were going to purchase from Rydell. We had other vehicles we were interested in at other dealerships, but the buying experience with him was ultimately the best and that played a huge factor in us buying from Rydell. He was very patient with us and let us make the decisions without trying to talk us into buying. When we got the approval to purchase the Acadia we told him around what time we would be in. He had the car nice and clean and ready to go when we arrived!! Also all the paperwork was waiting for us when we went inside! We didn't have to wait for anything! Justin knows what it takes to give an excellent experience! I will definitely go to Justin in future purchase and I am recommending him to anyone I know that is looking to purchase another vehicle! My experience with repair dept. The salesman and technicians were excellent. But having a computer problem with our used vehicle, it has been an inconvenience . I spent the entire day at the dealership while they were fixing my truck, to no avail, have to make another appointment to get things fixed right. I was at the dealership for 7 1/2 hours. My salesman stayed with me the entire day. Every half hour he was checking on the status of my vehicle. I would recommend Brian Schneider to any and all who decide to go to Rydells. Rod Troftgruben was very apologetic for the inconvenience. More
