Don't try to buy used here, they WILL try to rip you off!! Notice how all the good reviews are for Sales (new). If they succeed in selling you a used car, you've most definitely been had. I wasted my lunch h Notice how all the good reviews are for Sales (new). If they succeed in selling you a used car, you've most definitely been had. I wasted my lunch hour here today, and my time is not cheap. The first red flag was when the saleswoman tried to tell me that I'd get more for my car if I traded it in than if I sold it independently. I just bit my tongue and figured she must be new to the business, and let the charade go on. Then, even though they have a virtually identical car on their own lot (dead match in terms of mileage, just one model year newer...and "convertible"...a non-value feature on an 11 year old sebring in WISCONSIN lol) that they were asking $4500 for, they offered me $800 for my car which I bought 8 months ago for, you guessed it, $4500. Keep in mind that I'm also trying to trade UP to buy a used truck from them, which is valued at $4200 but they are asking $7000 for. I understand that they have to make money, so I went into this with a reasonable approach. KBB values my car at $2800, worst case scenario (rust considered). So I would have been happy with an offer of $2500, and willing to go as low as $2100, still considering that I also wanted to BUY A DIFFERENT VEHICLE from them. They came back with $800 (and comically held firm on it). But that's not the best part. When I called and asked for an explanation for the low price, I was told that I shouldn't be comparing to the Sebring Convertible because I wasn't being "honest and fair" and comparing apples to apples. Newsflash: You don't need any apples to know that $4500 >> $800, regardless of whether its a hard top or a convertible. But before I could find a polite way to say that, she changed the subject to the rust on my car. I would later measure this rust spot to be 9" long, and almost entirely on the underside of the car. A small bit is visible on the lower portion of the paint, maybe an inch or two wide, full 9" long. This saleswoman was so dishonest that she tried to convince me that it, and I quote, "ran the length of my car". Knee jerk reaction, I said "no it doesn't". But then when I realized I was arguing with someone about indisputable, visibly evident fact, it dawned on me that I was wasting my time. I told her to have a nice day and that was the end of it. Here's the funny part though: She never stopped to ask herself why a guy who claimed on multiple occasions to have outstanding credit and a great salary would be trying to buy a cheap old truck for $7k. It's because we're also potentially in the market for a brand NEW Pacifica for my wife, and I'm squaring away my finances to get that for her. I don't mind driving the cheap ol truck as long as it can carry our kayaks without having to strap them to the roof. I will not be buying that new Pacifica from Russ Darrow, or any other car from a Russ Darrow dealership, ever. I recommend that you take the same approach. More
sales person not informed. Felt very preasured. I was not even parked and I had a salesman hovering outside my car while I was on the phone waiting for me to get out. While on t Felt very preasured. I was not even parked and I had a salesman hovering outside my car while I was on the phone waiting for me to get out. While on the test drive sales person couldn't even tell me whether the vehicle was 4 wheel drive or not. This was not my first experience with Russ Darrow. Last experience was just as bad but I thought I would give them another try. Will not make that mistake again. I ended up buying a New car from van horn in Plymouth Wi. They where great. More
Horrible Experience!! Worst experience EVER!!!!!! Wish I could give it zero stars. Do NOT go to this dealer to purchase a car. They are all dirty liars! We were given an Worst experience EVER!!!!!! Wish I could give it zero stars. Do NOT go to this dealer to purchase a car. They are all dirty liars! We were given an offer that was $4,000 more than the advertised price, two days after we were told we would be paying the advertised price. After we brought this to their attention, then they came back with the advertised price and had us sign on this agreed upon price. After all of that, the sales manager told us the price was $1,500 more than the agreed upon price. When we askedwhy the price went up $1,500, the sales manager said that we did not qualify for all of the rebatees, after we had signed a paper that was $1,500 less. Long story short, don't waste your time. We are totally disgusted by this dealership! More
I bought a new 2013 Town-n-Country and have not been pleased with the amount of issues that I have had. For the amount of money I have spent it was definitely not worth the money. In addition, I did not pleased with the amount of issues that I have had. For the amount of money I have spent it was definitely not worth the money. In addition, I did not care for the sales process as I did not get out of the dealership the day I bought my van until 11 pm. I had to wait at the dealership for 4 hours before everything was finalized and then they tried jamming the extended warranty down my throat. On top of all of that, I took my van in yesterday for a bunch of warranty work and they told me they had to keep my van there while they wait for a part to be delivered which won't be there until Friday. So I asked for a loaner vehicle and they told me that Chrylers warranty policy does not offer loaner vehicles unless the vehicle is down for 3 or more days. What poor customer service that is!!! I will NEVER buy another vehicle from Russ Darrow. More
My experience with Chrysler Dodge Jeep in West Bend went downhill from the minute the test drive was done. I came back the following day to talk numbers and before I ever even went into an office, some of t downhill from the minute the test drive was done. I came back the following day to talk numbers and before I ever even went into an office, some of the service employees were outside moving my plates over to the vehicle I had test drove. The finance person was nice and thorough, and helped accomodate when he could, and I ended up buying. I drove off the lot and 2 blocks later the gas light came on.. they had given me the vehicle on empty. Two weeks after driving there were a few minor issues with the vehicle.. rattling in the upper council, a council light was out, and vehicle felt out of alignment, so I called up my salesperson describing the problems and he said to bring it in that Saturday morning, that he would put me in the books with the service department. I showed up to my "appointment" and my name wasn't on the books, and they were too busy so I had to return the following weekend. When I came back, they were going to charge me to even simply LOOK at the issues, and then of course, would charge also for any fixes made. I took that information to my salesperson in hopes he would clear it up with them, but after talking to them a bit, he confirmed there was nothing they could do without me having to pay. He said I bought the vehicle "as is" (mind you, NO PROBLEMS were disclosed to me at time of test drive or sale) and should expect minor problems with a used vehicle to come up. At this time I asked to speak to the manager, who had told me over email (I wrote to express my dissapointment in the sale/service I had gotten) that when I came in that day they'd check out the issues, clean up my vehicle nice and get me some gas. He was nice and tried to help me out, but was too busy to truly deal with me for any period of time since he was alone that day. He walked away assuring me he was going back to the service department to "see what he could do" and that's where it was left. I waited for half hour, in which time no one ever came back to explain what they were doing, but once my keys were given back to me I found out NO issues were dealt with or looked at. All they had done was clean it out (which is a free service anytime to anyone who buys a vehicle from them) and took it to put a quarter tank of gas in it. Definitely NOT the service I expected that day. When we got home, my husband actually fixed the squeeking with a quick nail to the council to tighten it to the ceiling... something they could have done and never even tried to attempt!! VERY dissapointed and will NEVER buy from this dealership! More
Worst experience in a dealer store in my life, 71 and counting, arrogant attitude, once they found out I was comparing price they got very offensive, said they would beat any offer, came back with both v counting, arrogant attitude, once they found out I was comparing price they got very offensive, said they would beat any offer, came back with both vehicles and he was nowhere to be found, knowing we had an appointment, another man looked at both vehicles and came up with a price 6000 more than at another dealer. Wasted my time coming from 30 miles away with 2 cars, shame on them. Brandon did call me and made an excuse that the man who gave me the price thought it was not an sle but he saw the nav screen etc. when he looked in the car personally, also Brandon gave me a price on an invoice of 2000 more than blue book for one of the vehicles so naturally one would think that the other would be priced similarly, the cars are extremely low mileage and maintained in perfect condition never driven in the winter. So as I said walked and purchased 6 grand less at another dealer, forget these guys More
