Car is broken a month after purchasing Bought a 2013 Chevy Equinox on December 4, 2017. 2 days later, the engine started rocking while idling in traffic. The whole car was shaking because o Bought a 2013 Chevy Equinox on December 4, 2017. 2 days later, the engine started rocking while idling in traffic. The whole car was shaking because of this. A week or so later, I found out that the eco mode does not work while in the city, so I shut it off. Less than a week later my car began stalling at every single traffic light. It would start back up, but would stall again at the next light. Check engine light would not come on. My local mechanic told me I should take it to a Chevrolet dealer because of the check engine light not coming on. Made an appointment for January 6th as that was the soonest they could get me in. Car broke down on January 5th (literally 31 days after I bought it). Completely stalled in the middle of the highway, would not restart. Got it towed to mechanic. They checked it out the next day. Found out that there was a plug in the pcv in orifice manifold. Basically, the plug or clog caused oil to be pushed out of the rear main seal. Finally the seal broke and I lost all of my oil. Get it towed to a Chevy dealer to get it fixed they find out that the timing chain is also broken, the oil pump is seized up, there’s a crack in the exhaust manifold, and the catalytic converter is starting to melt. It’s $5,300 to replace everything. Russ Darrow won’t do anything for me besides that they “might be able to save me some money if I get it fixed at their dealership”. You can’t tell me that these issues or at least some weren’t there when I bought the car. I will never buy a car from them ever again, let alone do any business whatsoever. They sold me a car that had problems and it took just enough time to break (past the 30 days) and now they won’t do a single thing. Only positive experience was with the sales person, Graham, and the guy who did all of the financial things with us (cannot remember his name). More

He simply pointed us in the direction of the vehicle we had in mind and helped us find a happy median between everything we wanted and how much we were willing to pay. Bob's straight forward and reserved approach is the reason we requested Bob help us find our second vehicle as well. On our second visit we looked forward to Bobs usual cheerful attitude and courteous demeanor and we got exactly that. With all said and done, if you're looking for a straightforward, honest and helpful salesman to help you pick out your new vehicle, Bob's your guy! I wouldn't recommend anyone else! More
