Charge me the parts but didn't really replaced the parts. I installed a trailer hitch on my new 2017 Sienna last year, on 11/16/2017 the car was found the trailer light wire did not installed well and cooking I installed a trailer hitch on my new 2017 Sienna last year, on 11/16/2017 the car was found the trailer light wire did not installed well and cooking the original wire and caused the brake light switch burned and finally caused the car couldn’t start, I was charged $1045 to solved this problem. Dealer’s invoice showed a brake light switch was replaced. On 7/1/2018 a warning light , Brake override malfunction, came out and then accorator and brake use simulationly warning, car stabilization control malfunction warning , and the brake light is keep tuning on. I went to Rt 22 Toyota service center on 7/3/18. consulant said it maybe the same problem wire shortage happened again, they want me to pay $250 for 2 hours to diagnose with the car , if not enough time,$125 per hour will add to the bill. I said it is a new car still under 3 years warranty, but they refuse to check it for free. So I went to another car repair shop, they found out that the brake light switch was not replaced in last time, the brake light switch was opened and taped back together by a black electric tape then installed back. That is the reason caused the brake light switch coming apart, and shortage messup the computer system. After they replace a new brake light switch and reset all the computer system the car back to normal. I brought back the old brake light switch to the Toyota service center, ask Stephen Jefferson to have the respondsibility to pay the bill $497.94 and he denied. He charge me the part and did not really install the new parts, that cause d the problems and he don't realize what they did, that is a cheating customer action. I will also file a complaint report to BBB. More
