This past April my wife and I purchased a 2021 Mustang Mach E and ended up paying an ADM cost of $2,000 over MSRP because the cars are in short supply. This angered us but we had tried on other occasions Mach E and ended up paying an ADM cost of $2,000 over MSRP because the cars are in short supply. This angered us but we had tried on other occasions with Tirapelli and other dealers to ask for the Ford X-Plan or MSRP pricing but lost the cars to someone else who would pay the ADM cost. This car with the particular color it was (Infinite Blue) was rare as Ford stopped making that color so we reluctantly paid the $2,000. Anyway, we were dealing with the salesman Ray who is a very nice man and he wrote up the necessary papers and told us the next stop would be with the Finance Manager. I had received a quote for the Ford ESP plan and asked Ray if Tirapelli could match it as I wanted to give my business to them. He took all the papers and I assumed he was arranging for us to meet with finance. Well my wife was sitting at another chair and could see the interaction of Ray with somebody she didn't know. From the body language she could see this individual was enraged. He came over to our table and in front of everybody in the showroom began yelling at my wife and I saying they had to make a profit and no way could they match the price on the ESP plan (not taking into consideration that we were paying $2,000 over MSRP). He then continued to tell us that our sale for the car was off as he wanted to buy it for his 16 year old son's birthday. I told him OK in a normal voice. He proceeded to storm out the door saying he was going to call his wife to see if he should purchase the car. He got in his truck and was leaving the parking lot as our salesman was running after him. My wife and I collected all of our papers thinking the sale was off but we were stunned and incredulous at what had just happened. In about 20 minutes Ray came back in and said the sale could still go on as planned. I asked him who had caused such a display of anger and embarassment to us and he said it was the GENERAL MANAGER, Tom! I was floored that somebody in that position would do something like that. I am a retired doctor and Clinic Director of a major school at the University of Illinois and I treated all of my students, fellow faculty, staff and patients with the respect and dignity they deserve and can't believe somebody who is a General Manager saying and acting like he did. He surely must have anger management issues. Nobody from the dealership has reached out to me about what happened and that is probably because I never want to see or talk to Tom again. I would, however, talk to Mr. or Mrs. Tirapelli about what happened. The reason I waited so long to tell my story is I reported this to the Ford Motor Company thinking something would be done and it hasn't. I would warn anyone dealing with the management of this dealership to beware of what might happen if you question their pricing or try to see if they are competative in their pricing. Went in to look at a used SUV. While test driving I noticed the brake pedal pulsing as they were applied. This happened every time I braked during the roughly 4-5 mile test drive. The salesman said he’ noticed the brake pedal pulsing as they were applied. This happened every time I braked during the roughly 4-5 mile test drive. The salesman said he’d look into it when we returned. Upon return, he went straight to get the write up offer sheet with pricing. When he was showing me the pricing, I asked about the brakes and said they would need to fix them first. He stated his sales manager told him it was just rust because the vehicle had been sitting so long without use and I just need to ride the brakes harder. I have an automotive background as I was in a vocational automotive program in high school for all 4 years and have worked and still do on cars my whole life. This was not a rust issue. At minimum, the rotors are warped. But it gets better… while looking at the price sheet, there was a SURCHARGE of $2000 added to the cost of the SUV because I wasn’t trading in a car for this purchase. I have never in my life ever seen a dealership add this surcharge. This place is a rip off and will scam you if you don’t pay attention. Read the reviews, it not just me. They will either tell you what you want to hear or try to sneak something by you. Shop elsewhere! I rather spend more money at an honest dealership. Ford Motor Company should be embarrassed of this one. More
This place is unbelievable! Their staff are ignorant, management are pushy and rude. I received harassing emails and texts for days then it continued more than a week later. Their online consultant Jessi management are pushy and rude. I received harassing emails and texts for days then it continued more than a week later. Their online consultant Jessica Widman is clueless and their manager Cen (Ken) verbally threatened me over the phone and made some crazy allegations. Look at the other 40+ reviews, you can't make this up! More

All Lies Just when I thought the dealerships in Schaumburg were the worst. This one takes the cake. I was in this dealership for over 6 hours just to purchase a truck. The sales person said one thing the finance guy said another. One minute I got the trade-in that I wanted, just to find out at the signing of the load, trade-in value was a lot less (bait and switch). Then I supposed to get the tonneau cover thrown in, just to find out that I am paying for it in my monthly payments. When I ask my sales person about it, she got back to me and said that the dealership is paying for it? So, when I ask her about my loan, (since if they are paying for it, that my monthly payments should come down?). The sales person was going to check into it, after twice calling her to get this done. I was told that I had to come in and talk to the finance guy myself? Then when I found out that two (2) tie down hooks were missing! (the truck comes with six (6) NOT four (4). Of course, they didn't believe me. So, three (3) employees had to look at the trucks to find out that I was right. One (1) week later, I came in to pick-up the two (2) missing hooks, just to be told by my sales person, that each bolt cost $24.00 each. (4 bolts and 2 hooks cost $144.00 I don’t think so) to be told that the dealership will pick up the tab. When I called to see if my tonneau cover, which the sales person said she had to order, has come in, she told me NO not yet. Two (2) hours later a service person called to set up an appointment to get some coating/ spray done and to install the tonneau cover which they had in stock waiting for me? Various people at this dealership keep calling and emailing me about the service I received. When I tell them about my complaint, they all say the same thing. “that someone will contact me”. STILL WAITING. To this day I still don’t know what I was paying for. No one cares. They got their money. Plus, the false advertising, they post the vehicles at the sale price just to find out that all the discounts don’t pertain to me. Vet, 1st responder, college grad, Ford employee, etc. Don’t believe anything that the sales person/ dealership tells you. More

I was told they had a shift in employees, but they all seemed very informed on the products we asked about. The dealership was very clean and they had masks on or kept their distance during these times of COVID. More
Deceptive They willfully concealed a defect in the used car I purchased. I test drove it 3 times and the defect was not apparent until I got it home. I was told They willfully concealed a defect in the used car I purchased. I test drove it 3 times and the defect was not apparent until I got it home. I was told it had been completely re-conditioned, and I foolishly took them at their word. They wanted thousands of dollars to make it right and claimed they had no idea. Calls and letters to the owner went unanswered. I was made aware that the Illinois Secretary of State has a police department that investigates situation like this and I intend to contact them. I am in the process of contacting the previous owner to see if the defect existed when it was traded in. More
Terrible service, my father who is older and doesn’t know how to word things told service to fix the front camera on a 2016 ford transit connect.. and they said they fixed it but there is no camera on this v how to word things told service to fix the front camera on a 2016 ford transit connect.. and they said they fixed it but there is no camera on this vehicle in the front makes no sense for them to say they fixed it. On top of that they said the parking sensors were working when the vehicle left that’s completely false I drove the van home and the parking sensors did not go off, and when I went to drop off the vehicle for a 3rd time, I waited for a guy to answer 3 separate phone calls and then walk to the back and then address me while I waited there for 15-20 minutes very unprofessional dealer in my experience. From beginning to end, our salesman went out of his way to meet our needs. The process was smooth, quick and pressure free unlike other dealerships. We got an incredible deal thanks to the manager Rob. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for our next vehicle. More
