I was in the market for a 2013 Toyota Highlander. After visiting another dealer in the area and getting the regular run-around you normally get at a large car dealership, I called Glens Falls Toyota to see visiting another dealer in the area and getting the regular run-around you normally get at a large car dealership, I called Glens Falls Toyota to see if they had any Highlanders in stock. It was a Saturday around 4pm when I made the call not knowing the store closes at 5pm. I was told they had one in-stock. I said I'll be up to the store in 20 minutes. I was greeted immediately by Bill Wattie when I walked through the door of the dealership. This is the first person I have ever met at a dealership that is pleasant to deal with. I have bought parts at Glens Falls Toyota in the past, but had never needed the services of the sales floor until now. Bill came right out with his cards on the table. The entire transaction was straight forward with no games of going back and forth. There was no pressure and no feelings of "who's going to beat who" on the deal. This dealership is a class act!! It is a classic example of why consumers should buy from the local guy and not the "Big Box" dealerships or retailers. I knew in the past just dealing with the parts department that someday I would buy my next vehicle from Glens Falls Toyota. Everyone from Bill Wattie, to Ben Fuller, and the rest of the staff could not have been more pleasant. Keep up the great work Glens Falls Toyota!!! More
When looking for a new car my choice is Toyota. I have had a wonderful experience with my Camry. I met with Bill Wattie Jr. and had such a refreshing experience. I was so pleased with the new Yaris I bought there in June of 2008 and the support I received thereafter that I decided to make my most recent purchase of a 2013 Yaris there as well. Gabrielle Smith was June of 2008 and the support I received thereafter that I decided to make my most recent purchase of a 2013 Yaris there as well. Gabrielle Smith was patient, courteous, and extremely accommodating despite my commitment to exploring several exotic purchasing scenarios before arriving at the scenario I happily consummated today. Gabby has the patience of a saint and I just can't imagine buying a car from anyone else given my sordid past automotive purchasing experiences at some of the Capital Region dealerships and I told her so in departing the showroom in my new 2013 Yaris today. Ben Fuller did a great job of answering my tedious questions about financing, assumption of my prior loan (I had a loan small balance outstanding from 2008 at purchase time today) and Ben's confidence, patience, and attention to the important details I requested as we consummated the purchase today did even more to set me at ease with the transaction(s) that needed our attention and commitment today. It also bears mentioning that I had to make an impromptu cancellation of maintenance service for the 2008 Yaris I had suddenly decided I was parting with this past Saturday. Both Gabby and Glen Racicot assured me I need not concern myself with how the Service Management team will receive my impromptu cancellation of maintenance (clearly, my monies are now focused on the 2013 Yaris I took delivery of today). When I called, Eric Nussbaum, the Assistance Service Manager early yesterday morning, he quickly congratulated me on my new purchase and assured me that my cancellation of maintenance was for the best possible reason and that he looked forward to serving me in my 2013 Yaris in the future. Accordingly, I had a pleasant exchange in the showroom today with, Jim Stegman, the Service Manager who immediately extended his right hand to shake in congratulations for the purchase of my 2013 Yaris and assured me that he too looked forward to continuing to serve my maintenance and/or repair needs with my new 2013 Yaris in the future. Today's transaction further reaffirmed to me that it is well worth my fifty mile drive to Glens Falls for the impeccable customer experience they deliver. In my experience, they truly go the extra mile to make you smile there...long after you start to make your automobile loan payments. More
Went all over driving many types and makes of vehicles. I always liked Toyota's, but never owned one since I was stationed in Japan back in the 1970's. The price was pretty much what I wanted to pay and there was no real problem getting the financing. Bill Dockum was not the pushy type of salesperson you typically meet in car dealerships. He was informative and professional throughout. More

The service on my Avalon has been a good experience. At the time of my last service it was noticed in the service dept. that my inspection was due, so they renewed it for me. (good thing as I had not noticed) and we were about to go on a small road trip. Goes to show that they are alert and helpful. More
From start to finish this was an outstanding new care experience. I contacted dealer via Internet to confirm vehicle was available. The owner of the company corresponded with me directly. When I arrived at the dealership the truck was waiting complete with plates for a test drive. The sales person (Bill Waite) greeted me and provided outstanding service. By the time I got back to the dealership my trade was evaluated and we discussed my expectations. Bill listened to me and within 5 minutes we agreed upon a price. Bill wrote up the deal and we moved on to the paperwork with the business manager. I was provided with prompt and courteous service. My financing paperwork, insurance paperwork and dealer paperwork were handled quickly and smoothly. I was provided with options, warranty info and a variety of services. We finished the majority of paper work and I went off to lunch while the new truck was prepped for delivery. The delivery was smooth, with sales staff explaining the new truck, service department , maintenance schedules and dealer services. I drove over 150 miles to get this truck and will do it again when I need a new Toyota. I would highly recommend this dealership and sales staff. More
