We worked with Justin Hamad and told him what we had in mind and the first car he showed us was the one we ended up buying. I felt like he listened to what I really wanted and then delivered something more than I ever expected. It was exactly what I wanted and then some. Buying cars can be intimidating and I felt comfortable asking questions and he didn't talk above me or over my head. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and I plan on going back in the future. I've been a long time customer of this dealership, both new vehicle and parts. Recently purchase a 3K transmission for my truck and installed myself. Called them the very next day to say reverse was bad. Waited 2 1/2 weeks to get the truck in and another 3 to get it back. After several attempts to blame other parts on the truck, the transmission was finally replaced. Within 3K miles the second transmission failed as confirmed by the local shop, a very reputable transmission shop and fords own master tech that installed that very transmission. I've requested a refund as I rely on the truck and do not wish to continue to gamble. I spoke directly to the general manager, service manager and ford customer care on several occasions. Ultimately it all came back to the dealer. Not only was a refund denied on several occasions, it took a month just to get the truck back in to swap out the second bad transmission. My experience with this dealership has been disgusting. It's worth noting that I've purchased one new truck from them. As well I am an ASE certified automotive master tech, service consultant and parts specialist and up till recently this was the dealer I used for all my genuine ford parts. Tens of thousands of dollars spent with this dealer through hundreds of transactions over 15 or so years and this is how I was treated. More

Terrible service side Service "manager" Gene is incredibly rude and treated me like I was someone who did something wrong to him. Terrible attitude and just all around horr Service "manager" Gene is incredibly rude and treated me like I was someone who did something wrong to him. Terrible attitude and just all around horrible experience with him. Mind you I purchase a 20K car from these guys and they HAMMER me on the service side because we all know that's where they try to make up the margins. Amazing how bad these guys can get away with murder. If I have any advice it is: Steer clear from Romano VW, especially the service side of things. (of course my sales guy wanted nothing to do with me once I needed repairs). More

Will not honor warrenty I bought my 2012 Dodge Avenger sxt plus from Romano ford . During the test drive I pointed out multiple times the car making a bad grinding noise whil I bought my 2012 Dodge Avenger sxt plus from Romano ford . During the test drive I pointed out multiple times the car making a bad grinding noise while braking and how the car dragged to the right . He said it will be looked but later on said nothing about the car dragging to the right , front alignment it needs , and told me the grinding noise was rust on the brake pads from the car sitting around . That cleans off fast . Still made the noise and still dragged and found out my e brake would NOT keep the car still . It still moved . Called the dealership made an appointment left the dealership . 20 min later I received a call talking about they will not fix anything at all because there was dirt found underneath the car . I started to explain that I got stuck in a drive way he immediately started to run his mouth about a made up story and getting stuck in a drive way . Would not let me explain the story , would not let me talk to some one else , would not fix anything ! Even after I told him I pointed everything out during the test drive accept for the e-brake . He said there's nothing on paper about it and my salesperson denies any conversations about it . Thing is when I called him first thing I asked was hey do you remember how I complained about the car dragging to the right and the bad grinding noise when breaking he said yea . Told him what I'm going through he changed his story to he drove it after and didn't feel nothing . Both of them pretty much calling me a lier so they don't have to spend money on fixing something they SHOULD fix ! Now if he allowed to to talk long enough with out rudely interrupting he would know the story and why he found some " dirt " underneath the car . Not that should be any reason to not warrenty my car ! Followed a truck with my 4 wheeler on the back to happy valley . Any one who's been there knows you have to drive on a dirt path for like 2 minutes before getting to a spot you can park. I parked wheat 4 wheeling for a few hours . It was raining and w.e had a blast . Went to leave and found myself stuck in mud . So that must mean I'm the bad guy now and stuff I pointed out during the test drive should not be fixed from the dealership right ? Not to mention it's been months and still no call about this touch up paint that was written on paper ! My first real dealership experience was horrible !! And I would not recommend a enemy to this dealership ! My car is now worse . Drags harder horrible grinding . Front rotors and brake pads are trash now ! E-brake would NOT save my life if a brake line blew and I needed to stop ! Horrible service seems like you guys look for any reason to not have to take money out of your pocket to Honor your warranties ! Hope everyone reads this before going to your dealership and making the same mistake I did by dealing with you ! This post will be shared and eventually everyone will know not to deal with Romano Ford ! More
I bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue on June 25th, 2013 from Romano Ford for $13,500 plus taxes. The car had 28,000 miles on it at that time and was still under manufacturer warranty. At the time of purchasing Romano Ford for $13,500 plus taxes. The car had 28,000 miles on it at that time and was still under manufacturer warranty. At the time of purchasing the car I was never offered an extended warranty from the dealer. We have had the car for 8 months. About a week to week and a half ago the car began to have some problems with it including the radio being lit up and looking like it was on but no sound, the locks from the inside would not lock or unlock with the button and the would not lock or unlock from the keys, the windshield wiper in the back would get stuck in the up position as well. I thought that maybe something was going on with the fuses. Behind the steering wheel also began to smoke a little and there was the smell of burning wires when you start the car up. I called Romano Ford to inform them of what was going on and they made me an appointment for Monday February 24th at 7am and I was told that I would get a loaner. When I got there that morning and they seen what kind of car that it was they told me that I would have to take it to a Nissan dealer as it was nothing that they could do about it and they were specialized in Ford and Volkswagon however, they were the ones that told me to bring it in knowing what was wrong with it and what kind of car that it was. That same morning I took it to Drivers Village Nissan and they had a long wait to even look at the car. I made an appointment with Nissan Fuccillo for Monday February 3rd at 8am. I took the car to them that morning. It took them 4 hours to even diagnose what the problem was. I got a call at noon that day at work saying that there was bad news. The heated seat that was installed (already in when I bought the car) was after factory. They said whom ever installed it did it incorrectly and was using power sources from everywhere which caused the harnesses to crumble when the mechanic looked at it as well as cause the wires to melt. They told me that the whole thing would have to be rewired. The total would be $4,000. I called my bank who said that this was a Romano problem that they would have to take care of it. I went to Romano Ford and spoke to the general manager who said that there was nothing that they can do because the warranty was up and that was there to protect the buyer and the consumer. When asked about the heated seat and the wiring he said that he had no knowledge if who was selling the car to me knew that it was after factory installed or not. They only inspected things based on NYS to make sure that the car is running correctly and is safe. He said that they are not required by NYS to inspect electrical or heated seats. The car is not safe as you smell burning wires and smoke coming from behind the steering wheel. He still continued to talk in circles saying he could not do anything about it. If they would they would be out of business along with many other dealerships. So all in all they refused to negotiate anything to resolve the problem! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone who wants sales people as well as mechanics who know what they are doing! More
Purchased a lower cost ($10K) used car. Admittedly it's winter here and the roads were nasty the day I drove it. It was quite low miles for the year and looks to be well cared for. I wasn't expectin it's winter here and the roads were nasty the day I drove it. It was quite low miles for the year and looks to be well cared for. I wasn't expecting perfection but here's where I am thus far: -On the way home the snow started back up. The wipers were in such poor condition it was almost better with them turned off. It was late in the evening and the dealer was already closed. My options are either drive with dangerous visibility for a couple days or buy wipers myself. -The next day the interstates were clear and dry I notice steering wheel is off to the right when going down the road. There was also a vibration indicative of tires that are out of balance. I take the car back to them under warranty and they perform an alignment. The vibration turned out to be a tire (that had good tread depth still) in such a condition that they put two new tires on it. -Whatever blue liquid they put in the windshield wiper tank is not suitable for the local climate. I've fought with washer nozzles freezing for several hours as I try to thaw them and get all of their freezing liquid out of them. -The front speakers do not work. They aren't crackly, they aren't quiet--they make no noises at all meaning any warning chimes including turn signal indicator noise doesn't work either. I haven't brought this up with them yet as I'm afraid of what bargain bin $10 speakers they would put in and what rattles will be there when they are done. All of the issues with this car are truly BASIC issues that should be easily identified by a competent technician that inspects a car before they put it on the dealer lot. I'm not sure if the dealer didn't know of these issues due to an inadequate evaluation by the technician or they were told of the issues and just didn't care. Regardless, if they can't fix such basic issues with a vehicle before it gets put out for sale, I can't recommend anyone actively seek to buy a used car from them. More

He wanted another $500 to "investigate it". I took it to another mechanic and they changed the spark plug wires for $75, and it runs like a champ. When I returned to tell them what I had learned they wanted me to leave the car with them for a week so they could check it out. Like I would ever let them touch my car again. They are a big rip-off place. Stay far away. More
