The manager Monty will flirt with you aggressively the entire time. The cars are lemons. You do not get to chose your car, as they suggest. They will have the car more than you do. The warranty's are bogu entire time. The cars are lemons. You do not get to chose your car, as they suggest. They will have the car more than you do. The warranty's are bogus and over rated. My towing was used up before the first year. I towed it at my expense every time after that. You cannot go to your own mechanic and their shop has no idea what they are doing. CSA (one in the same) are very rude people. They sold me a death trap. My car would shut off randomly in traffic and on numerous occasions. I did not get a rental car per the agreement any of these times. The reason the car would shut off "could never be duplicated". The last time my car was towed to them it sat for a few weeks in the same spot. The day my payment was due (still at their shop) the car was taking into possession. Why? They sold me a lemon and were not capable of fixing the issue. AZ Attorney Generals Office has a file created just for them. Feel free to help others not fall a victim. Also, we are going to court. If you would like to send a notarized statement or appear with your experience...reply back. Either way, warn others and do not fall for the bees in the trap. More
This car company is terrible. I do not recommend buying from them! We bought a Pontiac G6 which started leaking gas the day we brought it home, so we took it back and they sold us a different G6. This on from them! We bought a Pontiac G6 which started leaking gas the day we brought it home, so we took it back and they sold us a different G6. This one started leaking something within the first few weeks. We took it to the service center and they "fixed it". By fix I mean quick fix to get it in and out as fast as possible. It started leaking again and we paid $250 to fix it this time because apparently is was our fault, in the month and a half we'd had it we drove it so much apparently we caused the water pump to be ruined and leak. So they "fixed" it again! A week later the problem started again. I finally had to call and yell at Rob that this problem needed to be taken care of correctly! I made it clear I did not want it fixed quickly and that I expected them to take their time and do it right. He agreed and gave us a rental car to use while they fixed it. This was on a Friday, it is now Tuesday and we called to check on the car and they have not even begun to fix it, saying they have other customers and Monday and Tuesday is their busiest days. This place has terrible mechanics, horrible customer service, and they don't worry about pleasing the customers at all! They are only worried about making a quick sale and getting things done fast. Once this car is paid off I will never go back here or EVER recommend this awful place to anyone! More
My husband and I purchased a Ford Explorer from Rock Solid after my husband experienced a job loss and subsequent repossession of our only vehicle. Not a single person in the dealership treated us like Solid after my husband experienced a job loss and subsequent repossession of our only vehicle. Not a single person in the dealership treated us like we were deadbeats, or as though we didn't deserve reliable transportation. We have been treated with respect and dignity from day one. They worked with us to get us approved even though our credit wasn't good. At the time, we were desperate to get financed for another vehicle or face going without transportation to our jobs. The salesmen at Rock Solid clearly explained that they are selling used vehicles, some with high mileage, only after a thorough inspection to ensure the vehicles are in good working order. Since Rock Solid is responsible for paying for all repairs that fall under warranty, it is in their interest to sell vehicles that will not break down. After two years, or roughly a year ago, we noticed the transmission was slipping so took the Explorer into the shop. Everyone there was professional, friendly, and helpful. Our transmission was replaced under warranty without any issues or hassles from the repair center. A week ago our engine started making knocking noises so we took it into the shop once again. We expected to have issues as the vehicle has over 180,000 miles on it. You cannot purchase a used vehicle and never expect to have some sort of issues with the vehicle. Cars break down, this is a fact. The repair shop took the vehicle and are currently working to replace the engine, under warranty. In the meantime, they have rented a car for us to drive while we wait for the repairs to be completed, at no cost to us. I have read other reviews where people say they were ripped off. We did not have this experience at all. I urge anyone who has had a negative experience to first ensure that you read your paperwork properly to ensure you understand the contract and warranty to which you are agreeing before you agree to it, pay your bills on time, and stop expecting something for nothing. For people with poor credit, there are plenty of buy-here-pay-here establishments who are more than happy to take your money and sell you a used vehicle that will at some point need repairs, without a warranty. We paid something close to $1600 more than what the vehicle was worth to secure the warranty, and since then the warranty has paid for itself twice over. Rock Solid Auto Center is not one of those establishments who are out to rip off people with poor credit. They helped us when we really needed the help and have been nothing but helpful and pleasant ever since. If you need a vehicle but have less than perfect credit, I would seriously recommend looking into Rock Solid's services. We couldn't be happier with the treatment we have received. More
I bought a car from this dealership and they scammed me. Repo'd the car after 3 weeks saying they needed more money down when in fact they had not even secured financing. I spoke to several people there and Repo'd the car after 3 weeks saying they needed more money down when in fact they had not even secured financing. I spoke to several people there and they were all very rude and unprofessional. Just they way they did business was not professional and they do not care about customer service. More
