My husband and I walked into Rock Honda to buy a new accord and lease a new honda odyssey on June 29, 2013. After the first transaction took quite some time my husband walked out with his new accord and accord and lease a new honda odyssey on June 29, 2013. After the first transaction took quite some time my husband walked out with his new accord and they told me to come back the next day for my new odyssey. Now I had had one Honda tell me because of a previous Bk I was unable to lease a Honda but of course I could buy a new Honda. I explained to them I am a realtor and I have to lease a car to save money on my taxes if they couldnt do the deal I would gladly go somewhere else. The manager (John) said no no I will get them to forgive it you have great credit now it wont be a problem. So after running numbers I was ready to walk away with no deal. The manager said how about a pilot instead. Even though its not what I walked in for they convinced me to get it and I was happy with my decision. On July 9, 2013 I received a letter stating that they could not get me financed so I called and spoke with Edgar in financing to arrange taking the pilot back. He said no no We dont want it back don't worry we are taking care of it. On July 13, 2013 I left to Vegas on a business trip. I received a phone call from Michael Capatelle stating that they need to rewrite my contract and my husbands contract. Mine needed to be a purchase so I told them I wanted my car back because I was not going to purchase a new vehicle and if I was going to purchase a new vehicle it wouldnt be a Honda, and my husbands interest rate had doubled. I returned my pilot and refused to sign a new contract for my husband since they were over the ten days that the contract described for their right to cancel. Edris Jamily said They will just repo the car. My husband said just try! I have left a message for an attorney. I will not be screwed!!!! I am lawyering up!!! I will write back in after this is settled but my advice is RUN RUN FAR AWAY FROM ROCK HONDA! More
This seems to be the only dealer that has programs for people with open BK cases. I was treated with respect and they made my experience stress free and transparent as far as disclosing and explaining th people with open BK cases. I was treated with respect and they made my experience stress free and transparent as far as disclosing and explaining the whole process. The car I picked was a 2011 Kia Sorrento, the price was right at the suggested retail according to KBB. The finance manager had all my information and paperwork ready in a timely manner, and he was courteous and answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly. I read ma y bad reviews here about them and this wasn't my first choice of dealer. In fact I went to PENSKE Honda first in Ontario and the salesperson there, the foreign nationality one, was extremely rude and made me feel like a loser for my current financial situation. More
I received a pre approval letter in the mail from Rock Honda. I called Mike regarding it. We talked for a bit regarding and we went through what I would need to bring with me and if I would even qualify Honda. I called Mike regarding it. We talked for a bit regarding and we went through what I would need to bring with me and if I would even qualify. He proceeded to tell me over the phone that with the information I gave him that I would be able to get a car. He even offered to pay my for my gas home if we could not make a deal. On Wed this past week, my husband and I drove down to look at vehicles. Mike was off that day. We dealt with Adam, who proceeded to tell us that he could not honor the letter or what Mike had stated Also we could not get a 12000$ vehicle for various reasons (income, credit, address, living arrangements etc). We proceeded to inform them that. The offer was already in writing and they should honor it. They did not budge. After about an hour of fighting with them we walked out. More
UNBELIEVABLE CROOKS! We received a phone quote and a week later a phone quote again that was 1800.00 less. So we went in ready to purchase. Then the lies started. I already had financing set up, but they later a phone quote again that was 1800.00 less. So we went in ready to purchase. Then the lies started. I already had financing set up, but they insisted that IRS laws required a credit check. LIARS! Then some slimeball came with the quote that had jumped up $800.00 for destination charges and insisted we didn't really understand how this works. We walked out. They came after us and said they would honor the price, but the extra feature we wanted ended up being incredibly expensive. (They were going to get their extra money somehow) We just laughed and left. What a waste of 2.5 hours. They called us again the next day and guaranteed the original price. It really was good, so we went in. The finance guy spent 30 excruciating minutes trying to convince us we had to but the extended warranty. He was whining that he was an unemployed civil engineer and was now reduced to selling cars. Wow. Honda got a gem of an employee in him. They would not take the check from the credit union and made us return the next day with a cashiers check. To top it all off, the disgruntled finance guy called my place of employment 5 days later demanding to know why I hadn't shown up with the money. I would tell everyone to stay clear of this place. ROCK HONDA SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN FOR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. More
There is nothing good about this dealership. The service personell are slow to respond. Very rude. They seem just to care about getting rid of the customer. This dealership was one of the best a year ago. I personell are slow to respond. Very rude. They seem just to care about getting rid of the customer. This dealership was one of the best a year ago. It seemed to have gone bad eversince they moved to a new location. More
The sales tactics of this dealer were just plain DECEPTIVE. First, I got sucked in this stealership with an "internet price" that was below invoice. This quote was given to me by Oly Garcia. Word DECEPTIVE. First, I got sucked in this stealership with an "internet price" that was below invoice. This quote was given to me by Oly Garcia. Word of advise, if you receive a quote, make sure the price is including destination charge. He then added that figure after we got there. He seemed a friendly guy, told me stories to make me feel comfortable. Next, they were low-balled me on my trade. All kinds of excuses were given to me including they were just going to sell my vehicle to auction. I had an '01 toyota sequoia LIMITED fully loaded with 105k miles, and I got offered $4k!! Ridiculous!!! Next, after we were back and forth with my trade in nego, fat cat manager came to table and started to throw me ridiculous numbers for monthly payment. I thought I had a sticker on my forehead that says "stupid" because he thought I cannot do math! I will never come back at this stealership, and I will tell all my friends and family the same thing! If you are reading this review, look elsewhere and make sure you do your homework/research before buying. Make sure price quoted to you is everything plus tax and license. More

I took my car for an oil change and free tire rotation offer from Rock Honda. I must say the new location is very cozy. That's about all I can say about my good experience with this dealer. I felt my ca offer from Rock Honda. I must say the new location is very cozy. That's about all I can say about my good experience with this dealer. I felt my car bumpier and noisy after the service. I took my car back and asked if they had re-balance my tires properly after rotation. I am 50 years old and have owned many cars new and used. I was told the importance of re-balance the tires during each rotation because each tire wears differently. I never expected that the service did not include tire balance. At minimum, I should have at least given the option if that was extra for customer focus and safety sake. But they never did that. The service manager came out and asked me a whole bunch of 'did i do this and that'questions which really annoyed me, making me feel like I did something wrong and was there to take some advantage. Then he said that my 1 year old tire was already bad. OK, I am not a mechanic. It would be nice if I could be briefed about my tire condition when I first picked up the car. Both my family cars are Honda and I owned more Honda several cars before. There is good quality in Honda that I give a lot of trust and peace of mind. Not anymore, thanks to this experience. I just traded the car today for a Nissan. It was a 5 year 64K miles car traded for $14K; not bad price at all. I will soon get rid of my other Honda not that they car has any problem. But when it does, I would be very reluctant to see the service department again and I feel stupid not to go to the nearest dealer. I know I am not all rational in making my decision. I still love Honda; may be my love will come back in my next round of purchase a few years down the road. More
