I was not treated too well by associate members at Rock Honda. They were very irate with me when I mentioned I would be paying for this vehicle after negotiations with a check, guaranteed by my financial i Honda. They refused to call the 24 hour number provided by my financial institution until I completed a CREDIT APPLICATION, which the bald man sitting behind the desk claimed was a legal document that company policy required of all purchasers regardless of whether or not they'd be paying with cash, personal finance, or other, claiming it was so they would know where the car was going. He also said that in the state of California, the CREDIT APPLICATION is a legal document that is required to be filled out by all purchaser's regardless of how they intend to pay. To my knowledge, there is no such law in the state of California that states, individuals paying for a vehicle with cash or a verifiable check by a purchaser's financial institution must fill out a CREDIT APPLICATION. Whether or not it is a company policy is unknown at the moment. Such information such as basic Drivers License info, contact info can be given during titling and bill of sale without the use of a Credit Application when personal financing is being used. All individuals attempting to purchase a vehicle from this dealership should approach purchasing a vehicle from this dealership with extreme caution, especially if paying with cash or personal financing. Once the CREDIT APPLICATION form is signed, whether there is a social security number on it or not, they have the legal power to submit your information to a host of listed creditors listed on said application who will run a snapshot of credit history. DO NOT SIGN SUCH A FORM IF YOU ARE PAYING WITH CASH OR GUARANTEED CHECK AND DON'T INTEND ON USING THEIR FINANCING. It is illegal for any individual, sales person, or business to coerce any potential customer to sign a CREDIT APPLICATION when said potential customer intends to pay with CASH or Guaranteed Check. There is no legal/lawful justification for any company to insist a customer fill out a CREDIT APPLICATION form when the customer is using his or her own financing. Regarding this said potential purchase, the vehicle listed by Rock Honda of Fontana, CA has its price heavily inflated, roughly $5,000.00 more than all of the dealerships in the regional area selling the exact year and model with mileage above or below by 20,000miles. Based on all of the comparisons I have done with vehicles exactly like the one advertised by Rock Honda, I believe this vehicle to be heavily overpriced and not a fair value. I also have a full carfax report on this vehicle that shows the value of the vehicle resting at $14,250.00. The same is said for the KBB listing. Yet, they insist on the $5000 markup. Along with that, the Carfax report shows two damage reports. Though the damage is minor, I had an adjuster along with an estimator at AutoNation Collision have a look at the damage. The cost to repair the main damage to the vehicle is at $1000.00. I personally went to the dealership and had a look at the vehicle and find the damage estimate to be fair. It looks as if an individual attempted to touch up the deep damage done to the passenger rear of the vehicle, and then did an over buffing job that went too far into the clear coat, which is visible on sight. When factoring in the fair market value for such a vehicle, along with the comparisons to others exactly like it in the area, in addition to the 6 years of age the vehicle is, it is evident that Rock Honda of Fontana, CA has Overpriced it by roughly $5,000.00. I would not doubt they are doing the same thing with other used vehicles in their inventory. Associates of Rock have a very aggressive approach to those seeking to purchase from them, and have a complete lack of regard for human dignity and respect to those on sight engaging in the negotiation process. I was treated better at other Honda dealerships I visited the day of my experience. More

I really disliked my visits with them, but that’s where I bought my car, I am a very loyal customer. I had the pleasure with working with Jimmy Garcia (advisor). I would never drop so much money at once without researching everything he was recommending, but he was informative, I felt like I could trust him, and he was very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond my expectations with Honda from my previous experience. All my visits have been in and out not much said in between. Jimmy took the time to learn about me, listened to me ramble about my car history, and gave me positive feed back. I was incredibly fed up with Honda until today. Thank you! More

I am so sorry to have to type this not so positive review and am truly saddened and devastated by the lack of services provided at this dealership and very unprofessional establishment. I went in with an optimistic, pleasant, and respectful attitude. Although, I was very anxious about purchasing a car from a dealership after such a very long time, I did my upmost best not to show it as to not make anyone uncomfortable. The sales representatives and financing executives were not only rude and disrespectful to me in various ways, but were also acting in a way as if they simply did not like me, for whatever reason, and wanted to physically remove me from the premises and thereby their presences. The car salesman who was supposed to be showing me vehicles decided to lie about me ripping a piece of paper out of his hand and then went on to stand up in frustration and aggravation when I did not corroborate his story. For the record, I never ripped anything out of any individuals hand(s). (I am not going to be using any forms of formal identification such as names to protect these individuals confidentiality, out of respect.) The head of the financing department confronted me about the supposed disrespectful and inappropriate behavior as soon as I walked through the opening to his cubicle. It was simply myself, the sales man and the financing exec in the room. He as well as the car salesman were very hostile and directed a lot of anger towards me. He also began to raise his voice multiple times, and I repeatedly requested for him to calm down and address me in manner befitting that of a professional who had supposedly worked in the field for almost as long as I have been a live. There was no place for me to sit in the tiny 4x4 room other than right next to the individual which the head of the financing department was at that moment accusing me of assaulting. I much alike most in my situation during those moments decided to stand. While I was standing adjacent the two males in the room defending myself; the accuser (salesman) decided to stand up and block the exit while frustratingly adjusting his pants and fidgeting as if he were about to lunge at me or attack me until I was willing to admit to doing something which I did not do. More
