The sales and finance people were very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was told I would leave with a full tank of gas but the car only had between a half and three quarters of a tank! The finance person said he just got back from a few days off and his computer was slow to respond. Bill spent a lot of time with us explaining the features of the car. More

HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM ROCK HONDA On a Thursday night driving home, the Check Engine light comes on stating “Emission System Cooling Problem”. It’s late so I go to Rock Honda in Fontana on Friday. I ge driving home, the Check Engine light comes on stating “Emission System Cooling Problem”. It’s late so I go to Rock Honda in Fontana on Friday. I get there around noon and speak to an advisor, Nathan. Nathan tells me that he won’t have enough time to diagnose the problem and I should make an appointment for next week. Ok, when should I come back? Monday 8am. 7:50am Monday, I pull into service. I reach the front of the line at 8:00am. I have an appointment with Nathan. Oh he’s not here yet. 8:10am Nathan comes out to my car. How can I help you? I made an appointment with you for 8am this morning for my check engine light. Nathan writes me up. Are you going to wait? Yes, until I know what the problem is. 10:15am: We don’t have a Hybrid tech available to look at your car yet. 1:15pm Ww still don’t have a tech available. I am going home, will you call me with an update today? Yes 4:30pm NO CALL YET. After calling Rock Honda 6 times, I finally get through to Nathan. No tech available yet, and I’m off on Tuesday. My partner will keep me updated and I will call you with any updates. Tuesday 3pm NO CALL YET. I had to call 8 times to finally speak to someone. On my attempts I asked for guest relations, got voicemail. I asked for the Service Manager, got voicemail, but not Gary Suit (actual Service Manager). I finally got a hold of Nathan’s partner and he told me he still doesn’t have a Hybrid tech available to look at my car. How many Hybrid techs do you have? 5. He told me that the shop Foreman will be looking at my car 1st thing Wednesday morning. I have owned many cars over the years and I have never had a car in the shop more than 3 days. Rock Honda has had my car 2 days and they haven’t even diagnosed the problem yet. At this point I contacted Honda Corporate Customer Service. The CS rep tells me that 2 days to diagnose an issue was ok because the dealership is busy. Wow, this was the nail in the coffin as to why this Accord will be the last Honda vehicle I will ever buy. I have a 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid with 143,400 miles on it and this has been the best car that I have owned. But unfortunately I have been burned by 2 different Honda dealerships with bad service experiences. Where’s a helpful Honda person when you need one. Without a place to service my Honda, I can’t see myself buying another one. For anyone thinking of buying a Honda Hybrid or EV, you should think again. Apparently dealerships are only willing to send their technicians to Hybrid school after they have been with the dealership for 2 years. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a spare car sitting around while the dealership takes their time diagnosing my car. Fortunately, Rock Honda finished my car and it is running like new again. It took them another 2 1/2 days to complete the repairs. The invoice showed a $700 charge for labor, so 4-5 hours of flagged labor, but probably a 2 hour job to replace a water cooling pump. Totally unacceptable. Rock Honda had my car from Monday 8am til Friday 4pm and they never called me once. The only good thing about this whole experience was that I had an extended service contract that paid for the entire repair, minus a $100 deductible. I had Rock Honda reinstall a panel that had fallen off and Nathan quoted me $100 for the repairs so I authorized it. Friday 4pm I went to pick up the car paid like $210 and was on my way. More
Overall good dealer. Purchase was straight forward. Cancelled extended warranty and received as refund in a reasonable amount of time. Purchase was straight forward. Cancelled extended warranty and received as refund in a reasonable amount of time. More

I went in after work and the salesman showed me the car I was looking for. He asked if I wanted to drive it and I said yes. He said he would be right back but never came back. After 45 minutes I decided to l was looking for. He asked if I wanted to drive it and I said yes. He said he would be right back but never came back. After 45 minutes I decided to leave. I came back another day to give them one more shot and asked if they had the vehicle in a particular combination. The salesman said no and that I would just need to come back every couple days to check for myself. I ended up at buying from another dealer. Sales staff here is lazy and unprofessional. Would not recommend this dealer to anyone. It’s likely that they pre-judged by my car I came in. I have news for the sales staff. A car that has been paid off for 8 years leaves a long time to save for the purchase of a new one. I paid almost full price, financed, and added 5 additional products in finance. Rock Honda blew it on this one. More
I had a pretty bad experience over the course of two weeks.. I would like to start off by saying I am happy with the truck I bought and the sales person I Delt with, Sam. I delt mostly with Carlo weeks.. I would like to start off by saying I am happy with the truck I bought and the sales person I Delt with, Sam. I delt mostly with Carlos though, however, the used car sales manager. I would like to note here that Carlos never talked numbers with me but sent me all the way to finance as if his number was the only one; finalized, no negotiating, despite some dings to the truck that I brought up, clearly wanting to talk price or negotiate a little off. I choose to believe that I was so caught up that I was buying my first truck that I let some red flags fly that I shouldn’t have. The first one being Carlos telling me that wheels and tires were extra and $5000 but he would give it for only $1000 over the asking price for a “wheels and tires package“ and that they were new for the truck. (I thought this was off but aesthetically it looked beautiful) I looked at them and noticed the open country all terrain tires and knew they at least weren’t dealership tires for the car so I didn’t think twice. For reference, I bought this truck at night after it was washed and everything looked all shiny - so things were a little harder to catch. My wife pointed out (after I bought it and got home) that not only were the wheels and tires not new, but clearly used and had marks all over them, including scuffed up rims. Additionally, I was not able to catch a crack in the windshield and the third tail light that was out, even though I was shown the inspection sheet, and that everything was passed with flying colors. I chose to let these two things slide because I was still super happy with the purchase overall and I signed all the paperwork. Fast forward to the next afternoon, and I get a call from the finance department telling me I need to go bring them the convenience check from my bank. Well, apparently, the finance department was proposing an 84 month loan to show my payment at the price point I wanted. (I said I wanted $500 or less and they got me down to 499). However, my bank only approved 72 months (which I showed the finance department during the time upon signing). This made my payment $91 higher than what I signed for at the dealership. It is really hard to go back on a sell at this point when you’ve already had the truck for 24 hours and your trade-in is long gone. Even if I did back out at this point then I don’t have a car. So fine, I guess I will eat that too. Fast forward a week after having the truck and we get a rain storm in Southern California. the second row carpet gets soaked with water. No windows open but a leak from the outside of the truck, arguably the third break light after some testing on my end. Now I would like to emphasize that I am a very patient person and the last thing I wanted to do is to ever write a review, especially because I am very limited with my time as it is. But in hindsight, I definitely feel like I was played, and they knew they were taking advantage of a young guy, ecstatic to buy a truck. Carlos pushed me off after I said I wanted to buy the truck, in a respectful way, but to my interpretation of a “good riddance” scenario. the finance gentleman was confused as to why I was in his office if I hadn’t even seen a single number up to that point regarding trade in value or sell price. This confused me to but I’m not familiar with the car buying process and just played along because I assumed this was the norm. Fast forward til today, two weeks later, and I had to go in to pick up the sale paperwork for my own records, because it was not given to me at the time of purchase. Additionally, I mentioned the problems that were happening to see if they could at least repair the windshield or check out the leak out of Courtesy since the car was in their possession for a month and I was less to believe every issue was repaired or up to standard. I genuinely do feel that they just didn’t know themselves about the issues and not that they More
