I had my car towed to Kia of Riverside. I had no appointment obviously. The Service Department is one of the rudest I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately I’m at their mercy to get my car l I had no appointment obviously. The Service Department is one of the rudest I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately I’m at their mercy to get my car looked at. I was informed yesterday that it is out of Kia’s warranty however it is covered under Silverrocks warranty. Kia is one of the most bought vechicles. Because I purchased my car from a dealership other then them I’m treated so disrespectfully. I never asked for them to push my vehicle in front of other cars to be worked on. They are the rudest. I would not recommend them to anyone. More
Riverside Kia is the worst dealership for service I have ever been to... I was told nothing but lies and my vehicle was never fixed... Probably never even looked at. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointmen ever been to... I was told nothing but lies and my vehicle was never fixed... Probably never even looked at. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment at the service center. on June 18 I dropped my Kia Optima Hybrid off because I was getting a Hybrid System Error message that was causing a shut down of the engine while I was driving on the expressway. "Kenny" was my service advisor and didn't really listen to anything I had to say, just summarized my problem and took my keys. Over the course of the next 2 weeks I called 3 times trying to get a status and "Kenny" was never at work. The people I spoke with said that they didn't know what the problem was and that they were pulling codes for the brakes and electrical system even though I mentioned it was a battery issue. They said they were opening a work ticket with the factory to try and find out what the problem was. On July 5 "Kenny" called me and said they couldn't duplicate my problem and I could come and pick up my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle, the invoice only said they couldn't duplicate the problem. So I went and spoke to "Kenny" and asked what codes were pulled he said none. I told him that whomever I spoke with said they did. He had no answer. I then asked about the factory work tickets they submitted since they couldn't find a problem and "Kenny" said they never opened any work tickets or even contacted the factory. "Kenny" also mentioned that he and his technician had test drove my vehicle on 3 separate occasions for an hour each time… LIES.. when I picked up my veheicle it had only been driven 4 miles and papers on the passenger seat were not moved. Not to mention when I dropped it off “Kenny” said they can’t test drive a vehicle longer than 10 minutes or 10 miles (I can’t remember which he said) I have never been so appalled at the complete lack of service in trying to get help with my problem. I will never return to this dealership and I will definitely tell everyone I know about the poor customer service Kia offers its customers. More

BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM DISCOVERED My son contacted this dealership about purchasing a Kia Niro Riverside Kia had advertised for sale on the internet. The car had low miles and was advertised at the lowest dealership about purchasing a Kia Niro Riverside Kia had advertised for sale on the internet. The car had low miles and was advertised at the lowest price we had seen for cars with similar mileage. He made an appt. late Thursday night with salesperson Judy (or Judith) for an early morning appointment on Friday. My son needed a car before leaving for college the next day so we left Orange County and made the one hour drive to Riverside Kia. Ten (10) minutes before getting off the freeway, Judy texted my son and said the car had been sold. But, she said, not to worry because she had ANOTHER CAR for sale for the same price. When I looked up the "other car" I noticed it was the same model, year and price as the one she texted me son about, but with 50,000 MORE miles on it than the car we came to buy! Suspicious, no ? I thought so. We arrived at the dealership for our appt. and my son and wife began to discuss the matter with Judy. Judy confirmed that yes, the car we came to see had in fact been sold already, but she didn't know when. When asked again, Judy said she couldn't find record of the sale in her computer. (My wife is an attorney and recognizes bullsh@# when she hears it.) Meanwhile, I had already spoken with William in Finance by that time who confirmed that the car we came to see had been sold several days before. BAIT AND SWITCH scam uncovered. I asked to speak with the manager and we discussed what had happened with Judy and William from Finance. I asked Judy in front of the manager if it was true that she had used a bait and switch tactic to lure my son into the dealership with text messages offering to sell him a car that she knew had already been sold with the intention of trying to sell him an inferior car for the same advertised price. (My son hadn't told Judy his parents were coming along with him.) At this point (and this is why you should NOT buy a car from this dealership) the manager erroneously told me in front of both William and Judy that "bait and switch is not illegal in California" and if we didn't like it we could leave. Can you believe it ?! Suffice to say we left Riverside Kia and drove instead to Garden Grove Kia where we bought a car for my son to take back to college the next day. My advice to you is NOT to do business with a dealership that not only shamelessly uses a bait and switch scam to sell its cars, but has the nerve and temerity to have management instruct staff openly and in public that it is perfectly legal to do so which, it most certainly is NOT. It appears that Riverside Kia is not concerned with the consequences of having matters like this reported on social media, or to the California Dept. of Motor Vehicles or to Consumer Affairs. More

I would give zero if I could, they bull***t people due to the fact that they are lazy to diagnose or work on your vehicle. I purchased a brand new vehicle and my Tech (Anthony) was telling me that my vehicle the fact that they are lazy to diagnose or work on your vehicle. I purchased a brand new vehicle and my Tech (Anthony) was telling me that my vehicle is not under warranty, is it incompetence or just straight lie. This location need to be investigated. More
The customer service here is HORRIBLE! I have called multiple times to reach the service dept. I am transferred, the phone just rings, receptionist keeps transferring, then after 10-15 minutes of the ph multiple times to reach the service dept. I am transferred, the phone just rings, receptionist keeps transferring, then after 10-15 minutes of the phone just ringing, they disconnect me. I have tried the live chat. Was told they will send a message to service dept, After a week, still no contact. I tried to make an appointment online for service, the service I need is not on their list and says ask advisor. Can't get a hold of anyone to ask advisor. The parts dept is not any better. Made a purchase, was told they will call me when the part comes in. Went to cashier to pay and noticed the parts advisor put in the wrong phone number. Went back after I paid and told him he entered the wrong number. He stood there and said he would change it on his end but did not pull out the paperwork or enter the correct number in the computer. Not sure how they will call me when the part comes in when they have the wrong phone number that he didn't correct while I was there. This is absolutely the WORST dealership. So glad I did not purchase my car from here. And I would not have even made the parts purchase here but they can get it in quicker than my alternate choice so I was in a no win situation. But this will be the absolute last contact (or no contact since no one ever answers) with this dealership. I cannot believe that the owner is not aware of how their service dept cannot pick up a phone call. I worked for a dealership and we would never be allowed to let a phone ring more than 3 times, let alone 10 minutes straight. Hopefully someone will see this and look into it further and make changes. This is just highly unacceptable. More
The absolute worst service department and upper management I've ever dealt with. I purchased a 2022 Kia stinger in April and the door panel had a recall... the review camera doesn't work and paint management I've ever dealt with. I purchased a 2022 Kia stinger in April and the door panel had a recall... the review camera doesn't work and paint is chipping. I dropped my vehicle off on 10/21 and my vehicle still hasn't been touched. I was told today that they don't have anyone to drop my car off to the paint shop. The management doesn't care about customer service. The ownership is aware of the issue with the service manager and they do nothing ! More
Totally unsatisfied customer. Stay away from Riverside Kia. On July 24, 2021 my daughter and I went to Kia for an advertised "Used Car". We opted to buy a used car (while she finishes school) from a deale Kia. On July 24, 2021 my daughter and I went to Kia for an advertised "Used Car". We opted to buy a used car (while she finishes school) from a dealership rather than from just someone off the streets, for warranty and reliability purposes. We were greeted by Isiah, your "typical" car salesman. After the standard haggling, we bought a Hyundai Sonata. We even purchased the "extra engine/transmission insurance". During the paperwork, we even received the Car Fax. I must say, the prior owner babied the car, 6 pages of service, oil changes, tire rotations, etc. What could go wrong right???? Wrong.... the last notation is Riverside Kia "Vehicle Serviced/Pre delivery Inspection completed". On Sept 26, my daughter calls my from the side of the 215 freeway, "Dad, the car just stopped". This is on a Sunday. The CHP has her towed off. On Monday she has the car towed to Kia, Frank "Floor Manager" says we don't deal with warranty. My daughter is upset and the tow truck driver tells her he will take her to Hyundai. After the diagnosis, they discover NO OIL in the car. The engine is seized. I talk to Isiah, who with a smart xxx remark, "You bought a used car, what you want me to do".. The "Extra" insurance doesn't cover negligence, i.e NO oil in the engine. Now, I will be honest, I have never checked the oil level when I bought a New or Used car from a dealership. I asked Isiah what we can do to fix this.. Basically he told me, your stuck with it, because it's a used car. I was quite upset, I said how about at least being compensated for the $396.42, for tow truck and new battery which had to be replaced. Isiah, who is just a salesmen, did try and bat for me and talked to Frank and showed him the receipts. Said "SORRY" nothing we can do to help you. I asked him, if Kia serviced the car, wouldn't they have at least checked the oil level, and of course the answer I was waiting for, "It's not my department". Talk about the run around. As for everything I have mentioned, it is documented from the Car Fax to receipts to the diagnosis from Hyundai, stating there was NO oil in the engine. I tried to resolve this the best I could, with NO results. I hope that no one will experience what we went through. It is truly disappointing. I guess Riverside Kia doesn't believe in customer service or a repeat customer. More
