I called service department asked for Jesse who’s been taking care of my Kia told him that I needed an oil change if it was possible to get me in today. First impression? I was greeted and treated with care but that’s to be expected. I arrived prior to the opening of the dealership and, once they opened, immediate atte I was greeted and treated with care but that’s to be expected. The first sales person (please forgive me but I believe her name was Jasmine) was extremely professional. There was a specific vehicle I came to see and, after the test drive, negotiations began. After a brief stint, I decided to think about the purchase. I was then turned over to Omar. Omar spoke quickly and it was soon evident I was not leaving without this vehicle; he wanted to sell it and I wanted to purchase it. Needless to say, we were miles away from the purchase. That being said, we reached Nirvana in terms of a price. There was some subtle (yet financially detrimental) steps where Omar dropped the ball. Fortunately, I caught him each time. This left a sour taste in my mouth and is the main reason I did not rate the dealership with 5 stars. The vehicle could have been cleaned a bit better. The date of purchase was Sunday so it could have been a limited staff issue, yet I feel the vehicle should have been immaculate. I was sold a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty but was told, once I had to sign the warranty paperwork, that it wasn’t exactly as it was presented. It should have been something mention in the beginning; it wouldn’t have been an issue at all. Overall I’m pleased with the vehicle but feel the issues with the process were completely unnecessary. My employer had a flyer from Kia Riverside posted on our employee discount site. The flyer stated employees could purchase a vehicle for $100 over invoice plus tax and license. I am searching for a new car an know the climate of car buying. I took the flyer to the dealership and asked if they were still honoring this flyer and pointed out Frank Villa’s name. The salesperson Isaiah took the flyer inside to show and ask his manager if they could accept it. Isaiah came back out and said his manager said it was an old flyer but they would honor it! I was surprised and asked really!? He said yes. So I proceeded to look at cars. I was looking at a new Sportage when Isaiah went inside to get us waters. Then someone named Melissa came out and started telling me everything Isaiah already did. I figured she was sent to assist since the sale was basically a fleet price. Should have been a clue I guess.. the sticker on the Sportage shows msrp just over $29k. I decided to take it for a test drive and ultimately decided to proceed with the purchase. I told them I was pre-approved through my bank but wanted to see what they could offer in financing. The new salesperson Melissa told me they have 2.9% for 48 months. I said awesome that beats my bank let's do this! I showed her my flyer again and told her the manager said they would honor it. I said what is my price for this vehicle. She had me follow her inside and started my application for finance first and said she would look up pricing. She took my application across the room then came back and said that 2.9% had just ended and rates went up to 4.75%. Then she start doing the numbers BS asking where I wanted my payments. I was confused as to why this would matter when all I asked for was the vehicle price for me with my employee discount would be. She then told me the cost of the vehicle is actually $39k due to market trends they have added $10k to msrp but they will sell it to me for $33k which is still $4k over msrp and no where near the $100 over invoice they said they would honor! I again told her I was told you were going to honor the flyer and she said oh no we won't honor it. She said the name on the flyer Frank Villa is now the general manager. This flyer is really old. But we can discount a car for you. They flat out lied from the start and all the way through leading me to believe they would honor the flyer. Then playing their little games. All they had to do was say no we can't honor the flyer from the start and then shoe the correct price on their cars! This is false advertising, bait and switch, flat out lying!! Frank Villa, you should train your salespeople how to be honest and trustworthy. Not lying, cheating scammers. More

I did not believe this to be true it just didn't make since obviously he was just trying to get us to leave and as he said it would be better if it broke so we knew what it was. So I asked to speak to a manager as it seems like you would want to fix the problem before it breaks.. I have been waiting 50 minutes now and still no one has helped us.. Here we are 1 hour and 20 minutes and still no attempt to be help. I just decided to leave after an hour and a half that they have no intention of helping me whatsoever definitely not a place to buy a car if you want service afterwards What's funny is when I went to leave and asked for my key for my car Armando tells me why don't you go ahead and leave it and we'll give you a call later so he could have helped me at first but just decided not to for an hour and a half More
I had my car towed to Kia of Riverside. I had no appointment obviously. The Service Department is one of the rudest I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately I’m at their mercy to get my car looked at. I was informed yesterday that it is out of Kia’s warranty however it is covered under Silverrocks warranty. Kia is one of the most bought vechicles. Because I purchased my car from a dealership other then them I’m treated so disrespectfully. I never asked for them to push my vehicle in front of other cars to be worked on. They are the rudest. I would not recommend them to anyone. More
Riverside Kia is the worst dealership for service I have ever been to... I was told nothing but lies and my vehicle was never fixed... Probably never even looked at. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment at the service center. on June 18 I dropped my Kia Optima Hybrid off because I was getting a Hybrid System Error message that was causing a shut down of the engine while I was driving on the expressway. "Kenny" was my service advisor and didn't really listen to anything I had to say, just summarized my problem and took my keys. Over the course of the next 2 weeks I called 3 times trying to get a status and "Kenny" was never at work. The people I spoke with said that they didn't know what the problem was and that they were pulling codes for the brakes and electrical system even though I mentioned it was a battery issue. They said they were opening a work ticket with the factory to try and find out what the problem was. On July 5 "Kenny" called me and said they couldn't duplicate my problem and I could come and pick up my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle, the invoice only said they couldn't duplicate the problem. So I went and spoke to "Kenny" and asked what codes were pulled he said none. I told him that whomever I spoke with said they did. He had no answer. I then asked about the factory work tickets they submitted since they couldn't find a problem and "Kenny" said they never opened any work tickets or even contacted the factory. "Kenny" also mentioned that he and his technician had test drove my vehicle on 3 separate occasions for an hour each time… LIES.. when I picked up my veheicle it had only been driven 4 miles and papers on the passenger seat were not moved. Not to mention when I dropped it off “Kenny” said they can’t test drive a vehicle longer than 10 minutes or 10 miles (I can’t remember which he said) I have never been so appalled at the complete lack of service in trying to get help with my problem. I will never return to this dealership and I will definitely tell everyone I know about the poor customer service Kia offers its customers. More
