I bought a certified pre-owned here (this was the second vehicle ive purchased here and have previously recommended many people), signed papers and got verbal agreement that my old loan would be paid off. Here we are a month and a half later and it still isn't paid off, im showing a late payment because of it and it's on my credit. I've tried calling several times, have asked several people working there, ive even driven over an hour to get there (and pick up my license plate i had to call about because nobody reached out to me) and tried asking someone there in person. Nobody can give me an answer, i keep getting runarounds. ALSO, my fault for not looking closer before purchasing the vehicle, but they sold an AWD vehicle off the lot with 2 different types of tires and the coolant reservoir was empty. Having issues with the svc 4wd and I can't even trust bringing it here to get looked at or fixed. Beyond disappointed and will never purchase anything here again. More
I have not purchased a vehicle from Riverside but I've been in a few times for service on my jeep. Great folks that addressed all my concerns and costs were not bad. Dealership is clean, organzied, and very friendly. Staff is very hands on and ensures the comfort of visitors should they need anything during their visit. Extremely disappointing customer service … once they have the sale, you are no longer relevant to their business. Our Xterra was delivered on Wednesday September 18th and by the following Thursday Septemb the sale, you are no longer relevant to their business. Our Xterra was delivered on Wednesday September 18th and by the following Thursday September 26th, the lights on the dashboard were lit up showing a problem with the tires/potential brake concerns and to check tire pressure. Since that day we first noticed the problem, my husband has called several times where returned phone calls were promised, he has left several voicemails for each representative we worked with, and has had a consistent chain of text messages that have gone either unresolved or without response. At first we were patient given hurricane Helene had just come through and we understand how this may delay response times and assistance. However, at this point it just seems like we are getting the run around. We traded in our old vehicle in order to avoid the cost associated with fixing the brakes and now it seems we will be sinking more money into this newly purchased vehicle to fix these problems that started a week after delivery. Above is a portion of the email I sent to the customer relations director 1 week ago, 10/3/2024. She informed me that she spoke with the GM who directed us to schedule an appointment with the repair shop. This was disappointing for 2 reasons. First & foremost the general manager couldn’t be bothered to personally contact us regarding our concerns. Second, we live over 5 hours away and paid to have the vehicle delivered, hence correspondence for customer support rather than an in person experience. It has now been 2 weeks with unresolved phone calls, empty promises, unanswered text messages, and an absolutely horrible overall experience. I do not recommend purchasing a car from Riverside Automotive unless you have the utmost faith the car is perfect because you will be sadly disappointed with the lack of customer care. More
