My husband and I went to this dealership to look for 2 used cars. When we first got there Vinny was so nice. We wound up buying 2 used cars. We thought everything was going good. After purchasing the used cars. When we first got there Vinny was so nice. We wound up buying 2 used cars. We thought everything was going good. After purchasing the cars and putting down $1500.00 on both cars each, I was not understanding the charges. We called and went back only to have Christine talk in cicles and lie about everything. We called and spoke to Vinny many times. Vinny all of a sudden wouldn't return our calls. We went back there today and was told that the $1290.00 fee is for transportation and prep. We were both charged that. I was charged an extra fee of $1700.00. I was told this was for the warranty. When I said I already paid $2000.00 for the warranty they said yes but a Mercedes is more so instead of telling me they added it on as a fee. I have a document that says the agreement purchase price is $2000.00 not $3700.00 for the warranty.....DO NOT GO HERE!! More
I was purchasing a car from this dealership and they were very nice when I was purchasing the car. I knew exactly the model that I wanted, but they didn't have it on the lot. My salesperson Rich said he woul very nice when I was purchasing the car. I knew exactly the model that I wanted, but they didn't have it on the lot. My salesperson Rich said he would try and locate the car for me. The next day he called and said he located the car for me from a dealership in Jersey. So we went down there put down a $500 deposit and filled out the finance papers. We told them this is the car we want so please don't play games. The following day I called them to tell them I was going to finance on my own, Rich proceeded to pressure me into using them for finance saying he would get me the same rate. I agreed, he then tried to convince me to take a car that I did not want. A few days later Rich called and left message saying that they were having difficulty locating the car that he previously said he located and why don't we take the black car off the lot even though I said I didn't want the black car. Finally they said they can't get the red car and to take the black car, so I decided to shop around elsewhere. I located a car that I was happy with, and when I went to the bank to do the finance I found out the riverhead dealership was charging me a higher rate than what the bank said I qualified for. The dealership said that was the best available rate, but teachers federal said they were not telling the truth. I then called Rich to tell him I wanted to cancel at which point he proceeded to hound me and was relentless and wouldn't let me cancel. Finally he said he would fax me over the papers so I could cancel. The next day I still hadn't received the fax so I called again and they finally sent it over I immediately faxed it back and patiently waited for my refund. A couple days went by and there was no refund on my account so I called back and Rich said it would be processed on friday and would show up on monday. Monday came and went and there was no refund. I called on tuesday and spoke to paul. Paul said he would have rich call me. He didn't so I called up a couple hours later and they said rich went home, I then asked for paul who said he just processed my refund and when I was asked why it wasn't done days ago he said he didn't know got an attitude and hung up on me. It is now friday still no refund, I called discover and they told me no refund was processed or pending. I now filed a dispute and will get my money back from discover. To sum this all up if your looking to purchase a Hyundai, go to their sister company in medford where you can deal with honest and more reputable salespeople and management. you will save from having to deal with aggravation of having to deal with Paul and Rich. I now see why their reputation is so bad. More

i purchased a pre-owned Hundai in May. Later i received a bill for Motor Vehicle charges. I sent a check for $118.50. Unfortunately, i made a mistake with my checking account (never did this before). the c bill for Motor Vehicle charges. I sent a check for $118.50. Unfortunately, i made a mistake with my checking account (never did this before). the check was returned on June 20th. i contacted the accounting dept. immediately and spoke to Stacy. i told her my daughter would come in and pay cash, so please do not redeposit the check. on Thursday, June 23rd the check was redeposited and i was charged another $30. So i stopped in and asked that i get reimbursed the $30. I saw Vito Ilardi, the Hundai Mgr. he told me he had to speak to someone and would get back to me, he didn't. i left him 3 messages and he did not respond. This past Monday, July 18th, i faxed a letter to Frank Ventimiglia, the manager of the Mall and explained i was upset, Vito doesn't even return my calls. No response. i faxed the letter again on Tuesday - no response. So yesterday i went in to see Mr. Ventimiglia. He was very rude, mean, insulting. he told me he would not eat the $30, that i shouldn't write bad checks, insinuating that i intentionally write bad checks, it was a mistake. the point is, didn't Stacy have time to contact the bank and make sure that check wasn't redeposited?? She has no way of contacting the bank?? he would not even listen, he was very nasty and insulting, as i walked away he yelled, "don't write bad checks". i will NEVER go there again. And i will tell everyone I know about this experience and how disgusting Mr. Ventimiglia was to me! For $30???? unbelievable I was so upset, i didn't even ask him if he thought it was rude of him and Mr. Ilardi to not return someone's phonecalls/faxes. I paid a lot of money there for that car, and deserved to be treated better than that! he treated me like i was a criminal! I would like to know who Mr. Ventimiglia's superior is. He should know how he treats people, so please make sure that person sees this. Margaret Lowry More
Working with this dealership was a nightmare; every cliché about dishonest car salesmen and sleazy finance managers brought to life. Picture the scene in the movie "Fargo" where the character Jerry Lun cliché about dishonest car salesmen and sleazy finance managers brought to life. Picture the scene in the movie "Fargo" where the character Jerry Lundegaard tries to sell the hapless couple on undercoating after the price was negotiated and you'll get the picture. I've purchased many new cars over the years and I have to say this was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had. On a brighter note, I do love the '11 Elantra I purchased, just wish I had gotten it from another dealership. More
Everyone at the dealership was very pleasant and helpful. I liked that they spoke to me and not to my boyfriend, since I was the one purchasing the car. I liked that they spoke to me and not to my boyfriend, since I was the one purchasing the car. More
