As a life long resident of the SY valley I expected better service. I purchased a 2017 Chevy Tahoe as is. Having never purchased a vehicle from Rio Vista, I expected better. My brakes failed while better service. I purchased a 2017 Chevy Tahoe as is. Having never purchased a vehicle from Rio Vista, I expected better. My brakes failed while my DAUGHTER was driving My transmission failed at 70,000 miles and I had to tow it back from Nevada to California. I have had to replace the number 7 spark Plug 3 TIMES!!! And now the lifters are failing! As this was my first time buying anything from Rio Vista I thought the service department would at least wash my car while it was there for 3 days After PAYING $209.00 to have a diagnostic run on it they offered to tear it apart for $1,400.00 and my help with part of it. I have reached my limit with this vehicle We have been Chevy people for 50 years, this is unacceptable! If you would have the courtesy to contact me regarding this vehicle, and suggest a way to get my vehicle running again I would appreciate it. Thank you Diana burt More

The dealership makes money on their parts, their fee for diagnostics, and on the mechanic's labor. The fact that they charge by the book rate instead of actual time is a ripoff to the customer. Going forward it has become clear to me that I should seek outside dealership repairs by non-affiliated, but qualified mechanics. Additionally, a Service rate of $199/hour is just insane. More

Amazing Service Department! I was visiting the area when my vehicle sustained some pretty severe damage to the front bumper and engine compartment. I had a hard date on which I I was visiting the area when my vehicle sustained some pretty severe damage to the front bumper and engine compartment. I had a hard date on which I had to depart the area (about 4 days). Rio Vista completed ALL of the required repairs and got me on the road home. Not only was I impressed but everyone who saw the truck and saw it repaired was amazed it was done so quickly and flawlessly. Thank you so much for the excellent service on my vehicle. More
