Matt Mercantante pointed me in the direction of the types of trucks I was interested in. He was not overbearing and very helpful. Originally, my first choice was a Toyota Tundra TRD. Matt gave me some feature comparison information and the test drive was much smoother than the Toyota. Ultimately, I decided on the Ford. Dana Bishop went over optional equipment and was very helpful. Marvin Taylor was helpful with financing and warranty issues. He sold me on an extended warranty that originally seemed like a good idea but after reflection I felt a little apprehensive about. I told Marvin that I felt like that money could have been spent on other options like a bed liner or other things. He had the bed sprayed for me to make me feel more at ease. Joey Foust took care of the actual bed spraying. He provided excellent customer service and also showed me more options for my new truck. I have to say this was the best and easiest vehicle purchase I have ever experienced and would recommend Richmond Ford West to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Superior Customer Service!!!! I recently purchased a 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat from this dealership. Most car buying experiences are dreadful, but these guys are much different. Pat I recently purchased a 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat from this dealership. Most car buying experiences are dreadful, but these guys are much different. Patrick and Ali really worked with me to put together a deal that I was pleased with. I also purchased some after market products such as wheel covers and a bed liner. These products have to be installed at a later date when the appropriate techs can be scheduled. This means I have to bring the truck back and leave it for a few days to accomplish this. Now I live 100 miles away in Suffolk and didn't really want to make two trips to do this and drive an additional 400 miles. Not to mention having to revamp my entire schedule for a few days. But KUDOS to Joey Foust for solving the problem and making this task MUCH easier on me. When Joey and I discussed it, it was agreed that I would make one trip to drop off the vehicle. Richmond Ford West would supply me with a loaner to drive back home to Suffolk. Upon completion of the services to my truck , Richmond Ford West would deliver my truck back to me and pick up the loaner. This is how business should be conducted. Going the extra , extra mile for your customers still matters and was appreciated greatly by me. It is rare in this day and age that businesses even meet a customers expectations, but to greatly exceed them is awesome. The fine people of Richmond Ford West far exceeded any previous car buying experience I've had. I would highly recommend them for your next vehicle purchase.
