A few days ago I had the most fun ever buying a car! And it was a used one at that! I found the CPO Z4 of my dreams on-line listed at Richmond BMW and even though it was 6 hours from here, Tim St. Clair mad it was a used one at that! He even picked us up at the airport where we returned the rental car we had driven to Richmond. Dmytry Shapovalov had phoned me a few days before our arrival and had explained some of the possible choices I could make regarding warranties and service but never pressured me to make a decision right then....I have never bought a car without being pressured to make an instant decision. Didn't even know it could be done! Tim and I faxed paperwork back and forth, so when we arrived everything was in order. It was grand! The car was gorgeous and Tim and Dmytry were so patient while I acted silly and took pictures and such. It was a grand party! And as a middle aged woman, I was so appreciative that everyone took their time with me, explained everything that needed to be done and I never felt talked down to...plus their attention to detail was immpeccable! Tim showed me how every bell and whistle on the car worked and even filled it up with gas for our 6 hour drive home! And I never had that "take the money and run" feeling that I have had at other dealers. I was a bit nervous buying a car I had never seen in person or driven, but in my 3 state search for the car I wanted they had the perfect one at a price that couldn't be beat! I had to trust them because of the distance, and Tim and Dmytry never let me down. I have recommended them to my friends who live closer to Richmond and I will go back again! More
This is the fourth BMW that I've purchased/leased from Richmond BMW. I leased the first three vehicles and then purchase a certified used vehicle this time. DJ Sardana was always available for any questions that I had during the process. I test drove the vehicle twice...the second was a full day which DJ was kind enough to offer. I had considered a Volvo which I test drove but am very pleased with my decision to purchase the certified BMW X3. More
Where to start? DJ Sardana @Richmond BMW is definitely someone to talk to if you are considering a BMW. I had been working on replacing my '07 335i Sdn 6MT for 4 months. I knew that I wanted a 3 series bu someone to talk to if you are considering a BMW. I had been working on replacing my '07 335i Sdn 6MT for 4 months. I knew that I wanted a 3 series but was open to the type/model/options. I started with getting essentially the same car that I had been driving and was quoted a lease price of 50% higher than my current payment. That's when the fun began. Needless to say, after pestering my local dealer for 4 months on several different cars/prices, I became very frustrated with my dealer's response (not just my CA but others there). They almost made me feel that I was creating too much work for them and being unrealistic. I reluctantly started putting feelers out at other dealers across the Midwest and elsewhere. At some point, I contacted DJ and began talking/emailing back and forth. He had an M3 Vert (which I had considered if the price made any sense---I would pay more than a 335i but not a ton more). Starting from scratch with DJ, we successfully negotiated a deal that worked for both of us (it was a phenomenal deal), got all of the paperwork signed and complete, and the car delivered in just over 2 weeks!!! It was by far the best experience that I have ever had in buying a new car. The customer service has been second to none. I have had the car for 3 days, and DJ still calls me and emails me to xxup on a few items and make sure that I am enjoying the vehicle. And, one major thing to remember in all of this, I live in Michigan and DJ and his dealership are in Virginia. We did the entire transaction by phone, email, and overnight mail. The car was delivered by covered transport to my house and arrived in less than 2 days. I was very stressed throughout the process (buying a car long distance) but DJ remained calm, helped me to relax, and provided fantastic service. I had a friend who lives locally in Richmond check out the car just before it was transported; they were incredibly friendly and helpful to her as well. I am buying my next vehicle from DJ! D.J. I found the dealer on the internet,they had the auto i was interested in.I called and informed them of my date and time of arrival.Upon arrival,i was greeted at the door by the sales manager Frank Sorense was interested in.I called and informed them of my date and time of arrival.Upon arrival,i was greeted at the door by the sales manager Frank Sorensen,the greeting was very polite and friendly.I was then placed in the care of DJ Atul Sardana (sales rep).With mininual conversation , DJ Sardana had gained my confidence and trust,His friendliness,job knowledge and overall experience in the automotive industry should be commended.the things we talked about prior to my arrival at the dealer became a reality,nothing was changed ie, price,auto condition,financing etc.he immediately took me to see the vehicle that i was interested in.he answered ever question i had about the auto in a professional manner.His vehicle knowledge is very impressive.My stay at the dealer was a very positive and rewarding experence,I left the dealership feeling very comfortable about the vehicle purchase . I had been looking for an M5 for a long time, and my hometown dealer wanted sticker for the car. I wanted a car with a manual stick shift and every available option. The hometown dealer said that there were not any new cars like that in the country. They also said that the model with a stick would have a lower resale value than the SMG model. It sounded like the guy was trying to talk me out of the car I liked. I looked on eBay, and there it was. Richmond BMW had the exact car with the color and all options that I liked. I called DJ Sardana, the internet sales specialist, and he made me a ridiculously good deal for the car. I was a bit hesitant to buy a car that I had never seen in person, but I was more comfortable with a new car from a dealer. I had lots of pictures. The paperwork was expertly handled by Dmytry Shapovalov. I received an overnight package with all the required places to sign clearly marked. There were no add ons or changes to the original verbal agreements. Shipping was eventful, as the driver's truck broke down on the way here. This was not the fault of Richmond BMW. The car arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. It had the exact mileage as in the provided pictures. Richmond BMW took care of the title application and associated paperwork for my home state, Texas. I used the Virginia new car tags provided when the car arrived, and DJ sent the metal license plates overnight to me as soon as they arrived at Richmond BMW. I attached the Texas plates and went to the inspection station and voila, I had a Texas car. I have taken the car to my local dealer for service, and they are glad to have the business. I still saved NINE THOUSAND dollars including the shipping compared to buying from my local dealer. I had such a good experience, I bought my wife a new 2009 335i from DJ Sardana and Dmytry. They made me another good deal that even with shipping, beat the local dealer's price. They keep in touch, they communicate, they make sure the deal is fair. They do what they say. I give my strongest recommendation. More
I had been looking for a great car in the past year but once i walked in and met Adam, i knew he was going to be a great help and i soon find myself taking the car of the lot. He is a very intelligent young man that loves what he does. He ready at every minute to answer any question i had about the car. I did not feel the pressure from Adam of buying a car. Most of all he wanted me to know the pros and cons of the care and compare it to what initially came into the store for. I will recommend Adam's service tp my friends and family. At the end of the day he truly wanted me to be happy with what i was buying. Called me couple of times to make sure i did not have any questions regularly. I had a little incident with the office that almost ruined my experience, yet again Adam was there and with his help and Matt's help everything about my experince has been GREAT. I feel save in this care and glad i bought it More

To be blunt, I have never had a dealer experience like that of Richmond BMW. Each and every individual of their team not only lives up to, but, in fact, exceeds expectations. BMW may build the "ultimate that of Richmond BMW. Each and every individual of their team not only lives up to, but, in fact, exceeds expectations. BMW may build the "ultimate driving machine," but from sales to service, Richmond BMW has people driven to provide the ultimate ownership experience. My highest accolades go to Cheryl Bowman, who, together with the rest of Richmond BMW's team extended every effort to make me feel special. Even tough I was looking at a CPO car (aka a "used" BMW), I was treated with every respect and courtesy otherwise reserved for new car customers. And my Jet Black 2007 Z4 Coupe looked showroom perfect on delivery. The "Owners Orientation" offered by Richmond BMW was both informative and engaging, and underscored the levels and lengths the team goes to to support and satisfy their customers. Perhaps the greatest compliment I can pay Richmond BMW is to say that I don't consider them a "dealership."
