My experience with Richmond BMW on August, 23 2010. I went to the dealer for service on my 2009 BMW and walked away with a 2009 Suzuki vehicle thanks to Mr. Steven Lerner's professionalism and attention went to the dealer for service on my 2009 BMW and walked away with a 2009 Suzuki vehicle thanks to Mr. Steven Lerner's professionalism and attention to detail. He really answered all my questions and worked all the details in the purchase of the vehicle. The vehicle I purchased is for my wife Zoraida. I planned to surprise her with a vehicle that will fulfill her needs; when I arrived at home and show her the vehicle; she was very appreciative for getting a fine vehicle. Steve was very thorough in the hall process. This is the second vehicle I bought from Richmond BMW. One of the reasons why I chose this dealer is because I never felt under pressure in obtaining my BMW and the vehicle I purchased for my wife. I had a desire to surprise my wife with a "sports car" as we travel into our next 74 years of a blessed years. On a Friday afternoon,I ventured onto the BMW Richmond lot in my truck and yard work shorts. Steve Lerner came out into the heat to assist me. Well, on Monday, I was pleased to purchase a 2011 Z4 for my wife. Steve was very patient, understanding and worked with me in planning and coordinating the surprise event. Before I left the lot, Steve carefully instructed me on all of the operations of my wife's new DRIVING MACHINE and insisted that I bring back to BMW Richmond so that he could personally conduct a tour of how to operate all of the equipment. Since our purchase, Steve has,on two other occasions, graciously taken his time to personally tutor us on the perks of our new vehicle. The maintenance department went the extra mile in ensuring that the car was perfect for us before we left. The 90 mile trip to Richmond was well worth it. I called him and told him what I wanted and the options that were a must. When we arrived at the delership, he had different models available for me to look at. He is very apprachable, friendly and listened to what I wanted. He did not pressure me into purchasing the most expensive vehicle in the lot. In fact there was no pressure at all. I feel that he gave me an honest opinion when I questioned him about the vehicle that I was trying to purchase. He was very patient when I could not chose a vehicle and gave me time to think about which vehicle I really wanted. Frank, the financial service manager, is very down to earth. He helped us feel comfortable and allowed us to ask as many questions as we wanted. He was patient when I did not understand all the paperwork and ensured that I understood what I was signing. Buying my BMW X5 from BMW of Richmond was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. The people that I dealt with, Steve and Frank, were very professional and know their jobs. We had been car shopping for about a month when we walked into BMW of Richmond. At the time we were not sold on BMW, but after meeting Steven Lerner and test driving the 335i- we were hooked. Steven knew everything about the car which made it fun and after we purchased the car he made sure we knew how to reset and program just about anything. There was a stain on the headliner and when we spoke to the guys there, they quickly got it into the shop and afterwards you couldn't even tell there was ever a rust stain. Overall, these guys listened to what we wanted out of a car and were able to make us an offer we just couldn't refuse! We LOVE our new Beamer, and it's all thanks to the gentlemen at BMW of Richmond. I stopped by in July of 2009 and spoke with Steven Lerner. I gave him my criteria of what I wanted in a new BMW 328I X-Drive. I decided on the Barberra Red and told him I would be in late August when my husband would be in town. We did all of the negotiations via telephone including the trade in of my 2008 Acura RDX. The dealership had my car in the showroom when I arrived with a sign saying "Sold to Mrs. Susan Chichester". I was thrilled! It was the smoothest transition I have ever dealt with in purchasing a new car. I would highly recommend Steven Lerner and BMW of Richmond! More
