I had the most enjoyable experience purchasing my 2012 Mini Coupe JCW. Nancy Tibbetts and Young Choe were extremely helpful taking my preorder for the coupe. Steve Lerner and the rest of Richmond BMW really delivered for me. They were able to get me the rarest and hardest of all BMW's to get: the 1 series M Coupe (1 of the less than 600 expected in the delivered for me. They were able to get me the rarest and hardest of all BMW's to get: the 1 series M Coupe (1 of the less than 600 expected in the USA). While it took approximately 5 months to receive my car (BMW's fault not the dealership's fault), Steve kept me updated weekly as the Richmond BMW team worked to secure my allocation for the car. Steve was able to option the car with the exact options that I wanted and was able to assist me in tracking the car from Germany to port in Baltimore (where I took pictures of the delivery ship) and then to dealership. Steve's and Richmond BMW's integrity was superb. While other dealerships around the United States were selling customer's ordered 1Ms out from under them for enormous profits (up to $15K > MSRP), Steve and the Richmond BMW team honored their price and were even able to secure a few extra items for the car at no charge. Steve was especially helpful throughout the entire purchase process as this was the first car that I have purchased in over 10 years! This sales consultant treated me like a person, not like a sale, he answered all my 1000 questions without so much as a blink of an eye. The sales manager, Young, was also extremely helpful and professional. I felt as if they gave me a VERY fair price for my trade in, showing my what auto trader would offer me, and their price. I dedcided to call and ask some questions before driving 125 miles to Richmond to look at the car. After talking to Steve Lerner who was very polite and knowledgable of sales, I decided to make the trip to Richmond with my family to check out this automobile. My first impression of Richmond BMW was how costumer oriented the staff was. Eventhough I was working with Steve, almost everyone came up to me and my wife to say hello and offer a beverage to ensure our comfort. There was no pressure at any time from any sales associate to purchase the vehicle, it was definitely a very relaxing experiance. During the negotiation for the vehicle, Steve Lerner made sure that all my demands were met. I ended up purchasing the vehicle for under the budget that I was expecting to spend.
