I purchased a 100,000 miles extended warranty with BMW. At 99,000 miles I took the car in for service and asked for a thorough inspection. I was told that everything looked good. When I brought the car back in for an oil change at 107,000 miles, I was told that the car needed $5,000 of maintenance related items. This clearly seemed wrong to me. More

The part I needed for my X2 wasn’t in stock and it took three weeks to get it from Germany, so my car was at the dealership for a month.
