Bought a Certified Jeep Grand Cherokee and shortly after found out motor mounts needed to be replaced and oil change was not done. I have texts from the sales person saying was done and no issues. Spare tire tools were not the right set so had to pay $300 for a tow since I couldn’t put my spare on. Told the sales guy he said sorry it’s used and have to buy right see if I want one. They owe me a second key and make it extremely difficult to get. Only time can do it is Tuesday at 2-3 in the afternoon. Working a normal job and hours makes that difficult. They won’t let you do it at another Jeep store bc they want to use 3rd party to cut costs. Wonder what else they do to cut costs when recon pre owned cars. Trade they try to get you, got $2000 more at Carmax. I’d highly recommend going to Carmax and not trading in and honestly just go to any other Jeep store than here. When my plates came in the refused to mail them to me. Sent a note to the DMV making them aware of the stores tactics. Reached out the GM via call and email, nothing back lol but doesn’t surprise me after this terrible experience. Sales guy I won’t mention bc he’s new and doing what his managers say. Advice to sales guy, find a better run store. You’ll make more and have better customers that come back and send referrals. This place is a one sale burn you store. Hope this can help save someone else down the road. Just find another Jeep dealer. This message also going to Jeep corporate and BBB. More
We purchased a brand new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon around 8/2023. We were told we had free oil changes and tire rotations for 3 years. Well everything was going well until this month, 1/2025. We live in sherman Texas and take our truck to freedom dodge in sherman rather than going to Richardson for our oil changes and tire rotations. As usual i took the truck in and dropped it off for service. Received a call from the service department saying that we used our last “free oil change last time we took it in.” I told the girl at the desk that was incorrect, we were promised free oil changes and tire rotations for 3 years. So she said she would check with Richardson for those details. An hour later still no call back from the Richardson dealership, so i just took my truck and went home. I called the Richardson dealership and spoke with the service department and was told “no you don’t have that package since the jeep wave expired.” Well knowing what i was told when i purchased the truck and that dealerships would never lie. I called them 1/13/25 and was transferred to the GM of the dealership. I left a message around 0930 and still hadn’t heard back from him by 1700. So i called him again, and left another message requesting a call back. Still haven’t heard back from him. So apparently this dealership does lie and then they avoid returning calls. I don’t believe i will use them in the future. This was our second gladiator to buy from them, and probably our last. More

If you don’t want to lose time, money, patience, nerves and your car’s value, STAY AWAY from this “service.” I’ve brought my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland there 11 times in less than 3 years. They wasted all my warranty time with their cheap service and a lot of excuses. From their service advisor to the general manager, they all pretended like they have been doing everything they can, but the result is always against the customer. Now my regular warranty is over, my powertrain warranty is close to its end, and I am still trying to have my car fixed for the same oil leak problem that I’ve had since September 2020. It is not just their terrible technical service but also their unfulfilled promises. I paid for a special part, and they installed a lower-quality model. Although they accepted their mistake and promised to replace it with the correct part that I paid for, they never did and never repaid my money. They tell you that they have free loaners available when your car is being serviced, but they make you go to a car rental place and rent a car using your own credit card. They paid for my rental but once they somehow didn’t and it took me months to get that money back. The thing that makes me angriest is that their technicians took my car, not once but multiple times, to pick up their lunch from fast food drive throughs. One technician took my car and drove miles away to a bank, left my car unattended and running, and went into the bank for approximately 10 minutes. I am not surprised to hear that a lady’s car was stolen while it was serviced at RICH. All the things I’ve mentioned are from my personal experience with this terrible car service. I had my car serviced at RICH since I purchased it and as of now it only has 20.000 miles. My car is now at another authorized dealer/service, and I am fighting for my rights to have my car serviced without paying for the damage that wasn’t fixed by RICH, despite numerous visits. I hope this will help others, and they won’t go through similar problems like the ones I have been dealing with for years. I think they shouldn’t be called RICH with this POOR quality of service. Despite providing before photos, the dealership should have taken responsibility. Key Issues: 1. Lack of Accountability: The dealership refused to acknowledge missing LED lights. 2. Poor Communication: No follow-up calls or updates after the initial report. 3. No Investigation: Never asked to return the vehicle for explanation or investigation. 4. Unfulfilled Promises: David assured me a call back on 10/05, but I have yet to hear back from anyone. 5. Defensive Response: Michael swiftly defended the dealership without resolving the issue. Timeline: - 10/05/2024: Initial report to David - 10/07/2024: Official report to Michael on recorded line Before, the photos I took showed the LED lights. Michael's swift defense and lack of investigation raise concerns. Update: I will revise this review if Richardson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram takes responsibility and resolves the issue.
