The purchase of a new car can sometimes be a stressful experience. From the moment that we walked into Revolution Kia, the staff was exceedingly gracious and helpful. Our salesman, Nick LiBretto made us feel like we were part of his family. Always polite and knowledgeable of the product we were interested in (the Optima EX), he made our initial visit a truly wonderful experience. For every "bump in the road" we encountered, he helped make our ride smoother during the bargain and purchase process. Our initial visit was exploratory but by the end of the visit we knew that Revolution KIA was the place where we were going to purchase our new car. We did not purchase our Optima that day and it was a full 2 weeks before we returned. When Melisa and I walked into the showroom unannounced on our second visit, we were both extremely surprised when Nick greeted us by our first names. It was on that second visit that we placed our down payment on our car. While we were hashing over the price, we had the pleasant experience of meeting George Koutos who, though not our salesman was gracious, pleasant, helpful and just a great guy to talk too. As I say during the process, we encountered some blemish problems with the car and we met the General Manager Bob ( I never got his last name) who bent over backwards to help us out with the fixes. His helpfulness was incredible. I went into kia in lindenhurst today to purchase a second vehicle for personal use. I went in with the intentions just to browse because I had a friend in the business that I intended to go to. Well I ended vehicle for personal use. I went in with the intentions just to browse because I had a friend in the business that I intended to go to. Well I ended up buying this vehicle because the experience I had was far to none the best buying experience I had. George told me right up front we treat you like family I thought to myself here we go your typical salesmen WELLi was sure provec wrong george made me feel right at home with a no pressure tactic and a friendly atmosphere. I was so impressed that when I went back later in the day topick up the vehickle I brought my dadand he as well bought a new vehicle as well the same day. If your looking for a new car and your not sure where to go I suggest you come here to kia in lindenhurst and see george and feel welcome from the moment he says hi but be prepared to purchase a car because the experience will be nothing you ever had before. Since my other car literally died, I needed a new one. Didn't want to go too expensive and decided to economize gas-wise. I picked the Kia Rio 5 and love it! This is my first Kia and my first smaller car since my other car was a dodge grand caravan and was a gas eater. Since I wanted to Kia Rio 5 in white, I had to wait a few weeks. Being I needed a car, George and Al gave me a loaner for....FREE. No expense on my end except I replaced the gas I used because that was the least I could do. George kept me updated regularly as to when I was getting my new Kia Rio 5. There were some glitches but not at the fault of George and Revolution Kia. Things happen and we have to roll with it. Life is what it is. Here I am now with my new car and couldn't be happier with it. I highly recommend George anytime. You will be in great hands! I am also in sales and George has the same ethics I do when it comes to customer service. Always keep the customer in the loop and communication is essential. And, he couldn't be any nicer! On a side note, for those of you who want less expensive cars, keep in mind that all dealerships do not have a lot of room to play with price-wise. Do not expect to get an affordable car for next to nothing. I will happily refer George and Revolution Kia forever! More
I found a used Altima Hybrid in the color I wanted at this dealership. Unfortunately it was the only dealership I had found the exact car I wanted, so I went in determined to get the car no matter what. this dealership. They did give me the car at the retail price instead of the advertised internet special, but I didn't really mind because again, this was the car I really wanted and the amount they were asking was not absurd. They found me a great interest rate, so I wasn't upset. What did get me upset was the way the finance guy (Izzy) spoke to me. He had noticed one of my tattoos and started making assumptions and insinuations about me based on that, in front of my mother! He was making very inappropriate comments based on one thing, having known me for all of a half hour. It was extremely rude. He also promised me at the time of signing that they would service my car to fix whatever paint needed to be touched up, etc. I waited weeks for a phone call to bring it in, and I got nothing. I finally called the service dept myself and was told Izzy never informed them I was supposed to get any work done. But the service department accommodated me, and were extremely helpful. They're the only good thing about that place. More
I went there last night and had a terrible experience. The sales person I was dealing with was nice but the sales manager was very nasty. They were offering me a used 2010 Kia Soul for $16,000 (that included my trade in) at double the interest rate that I should have been offered. I did a lot of research before going there as far as what my car was worth, what my credit score was and what Kia's cost. My dad walked out because he said the offer was ludicrous and on his way out he told the sale manager that he was insulted by that outrageous offer. I stayed to see if they would offer something more appropriate and when the sales manager came over he started out the conversation by saying "Hey, that guy is really rude, huh!". That "guy" was my father and that statement was very disrespectful! I was very interested in purchasing that car and was ready to sign on the dotted line if the offer was realistic. Instead, I walked out after spending an hour and a half of my time only to be insulted at the end. I will never go back to that dealership again and will make it clear to everyone I know in person and on line that they should never do (or attempt to do) business with that dealership. More
