Staff is poorly trained My car blew up while visiting family in Missouri, we live iv West Virginia. Went to the dealership to look at purchasing a used car. Explained to the salesman that although we wanted to purchase the car in Mo it would need to be tagged in WV. Salesman and later the finance dept said no problem. They were experienced in these kind of transactions. So we ended up purchasing a car. A 30 day temporary tag was placed on the car and I drove away. Now its 10 days before that 30 day tag expires and we still don't have a hard tag. We have been lied to and given the run around about this. I myself was told "we" were the ones not fulfilling our end. This is not the truth in anyway shape or form!!!!! Both myself and my partner have made numerous phone calls to the dealership to rectify this or be of help. The staff is rude and are willing to pass the buck to avoid responsibility!!!! My 1st Experience was great at reliable service department I bought my 3rd corvette thru Wes Milby at Reliable Chevrolet, that has always been great. This was my first time using the service department. I must say they are some of the most professional service manager "Debbie Pevie" whom had a very nice car waiting for me as well as having the Corvette Technician meet and greet me. Ms. Brittny, I let her know all my concerns and the issue with my corvette and radio control. She assure me it was no problem and she would access each issue and repair as need, and let me know when she was finished my new corvette would be return repaired properly, cleaned and returned to me as if it was her own. Surprise it had repaired better then when I bought it. The attention to detail she performed on my car was of the highest level of expertise. Thank you again, Debbie and Brittney you both are a great asset to Reliable Chevrolet and true professional's at you in chosen careers . More

Great at first but terrible CS after signing my name Customer Service should not end after you sign your name.... unfortunately, that's exactly what happened in my case at Reliable Chevrolet in Springfie Customer Service should not end after you sign your name.... unfortunately, that's exactly what happened in my case at Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield, MO. I bought 2 vehicles from them at the same time and traded in 2 vehicles on April 19, 2015. When I first walked on to the lot I told them my budget and they offered to replace both my old vehicles with new(er) vehicles and to stay within my budget. They did just that! I got a great deal (although they didn't absorb the sales tax like I had asked). I was pretty happy with the deal nonetheless. During the financing part, the guy offered me a warranty on both vehicle and said that all vehicles sold have a complimentary 3 month/3,000 mile warranty. I turned down the offer to purchase an extended warranty because I had planned on shopping for a better used car warranty and I had 3 months to find a better deal outside the dealer. The finance guy said "that's fine... just remember, after those 3 months/3,000 miles, you're on your own" I said "ok." Jump forward 1 month of ownership, one of the vehicles started to overheat and, come to find out, was leaking coolant. Took it in to get service on it and they said it would cost me $500 for repairs. I told them I was within the 3 month/3,000 mile guarantee period, and they replied that the temporary guarantee didn't apply in this particular case. I was pretty angry to say the least, they said repair itself is labor intensive but the part was only $70. My car purchasing experience just went from good to miserable. My salesman (Jack Spencer) was good, but I wouldn't recommend buying a used vehicle from Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield, MO as they don't help after the purchase if something goes immediately wrong after purchase. If they really wanted to live up to their name, I would have heard the words "Mr ____ We're very sorry about that, sir. We want to retain your business with us, so we'll get that fixed for you and get you back on the road as soon as possible." Unfortunately, they were NOT able to muster up those words, leaving me here, taking the time to type up this review. I will update this review if anything changes. UPDATE I ended up doing the repair myself. Took me just over one hour to complete (with very little car repair experience) and the part was only $50. It's sad they couldn't have taken care of this repair for me and kept the purchase experience positive for me. More
Much longer wait than told I went in for a 15,000 mile oil change and other service they suggested. I was told it would be 2 hours. It turned out to be over 3 hours. I know it is hard to judge but being 50 % off is unacceptable. The service people were friendly. Give them more resources so they can be successful. More
