Jason, Certified Pre-owned "CPO" vehicles have a certification fee, It is not always included in the online advertised price if it has not been certified (some people may not find value in the extra coverage) but after reviewing your paperwork I found it was disclosed and agreed upon during the sales process. They will tell you parts need to be replaced when it's not the actual part that has failed but maybe just a simple o-ring or something else easily fixed. More

I was told it was my power steering pump that was bad and was causing the wineing sound i was hearing on cold mornings. I was quoted close to $1,000 to replace the pump. I asked if it could be the 2 rubber orings that go bad and can cause the same symptom, i was told "no we checked that, its the pump." i took the car home repalced the 2 o rings which arent even $10 for both and it hasnt made a sound in over a year....not the first time ive been told its a very expensive part and fixed it myself for nearly free....

Sorry i was wrong, the correct amount was $3.48 to fix my problem myself compared to the $848.08 i was quoted there, not uncluding taxes and shop supplies and other additional fees. My vin is 19uua76577a044674
