We spoke at length about my car with another service advisor sitting there. It was about a coolant leak. I knew it was he water pump I had another guy quote me on it and he was way too high. I took it in. He "fixed" it for $650 or so. I asked if he fixed the pump. He said no it was fine. Drove it 30 min and the light was back on with the coolant leak. Called and they told me to keep driving it awhile. The next week I went in and they took it in and said something was loose, I should be good now. Next day, more leaking. Took it back in and he wanted to charge me $1400 for the pump. I said no. You have a 12 month/12000 mile warranty. Still dumping coolant, fix it. This Allen guy proceeded to scream at me on the phone. I went to his manager above him the "customer experience" manager jerry McDaniel. He is the most worthless person I have ever spoken to. I don't even know how he has a job. He wouldn't even return GMs phone calls, let alone mine. Pretty much to sum it up, this is a boys club to protect each other and screw you over. I would run and hide. This place is a bunch of sheisters who only want to scam you and don't know how to fix a car More

Well TOM in service talked to her and I like we were trash. Said we didn't know what we were talking about and basically told us we were stupid. Guess the husband will be bringing it back and having it fixed. More

Service I made an appointment for service to change coolant and front end alignment. I was there 4 1/2 hrs. For a 2 hr job. While I was there they said my ca I made an appointment for service to change coolant and front end alignment. I was there 4 1/2 hrs. For a 2 hr job. While I was there they said my car needed outer tierod ends, sway bar end links, oil change, transmission fluid change, rear axle fluid change and my front brakes were 70% worn out and the rear tires were low on tread. Amazing, the rear tires only had 7500 highway miles on them. The transmission and rear fluids are never changed according to the service manual. Even though I have the fluids changed at every 25,000 miles. This car only has 52,000 highway miles on it. The synthetic oil change only had 500 miles on it. They tried to sell me a lot of services I didn't need. I called Jerry McDaniels to complain, but he never resolved the issues I had. I guess REEDER can care less about us customers. Pathetic I brought my 08 Tahoe to Reeder Chevrolet to have a problem in the front suspension diagnosed and repaired. it took me 4 days of waiting to get a loan I brought my 08 Tahoe to Reeder Chevrolet to have a problem in the front suspension diagnosed and repaired. it took me 4 days of waiting to get a loaner car. once I received it it took a week to accomplish 8 hours of work. when I pick my truck up the bill was $2500 and the noise was still there. I returned to Reeder Chevrolet but next day there was no loaner car available. I told them to put me on the waiting list and get me in as soon as possible. I did not hear anything from them for 2 weeks. finally I drove down to Reeder Chevrolet and ask them what was taking so long and was surprised to find out they had a loaner vehicle available that day. as of now my vehicle has been there for going on 3 weeks and did not get a phone call about it until last night. the four times I called them during those three weeks they told me they could not diagnose the problem. I can imagine the main reason was it was sitting in the same parking place that I left it in. as of right now it is still in the shop. More

They told him the B-pillar was bent and needed replacing along with new door hinge bushings. Estimate was $1,278. Then he called them to say he could not afford to have it fixed, he was told by Service Manager that the B-pillar had already been brought from local salvage yard and could not be returned (checked with salvage yard and was told part COULD BE RETURNED!). When he went back to pick up his S10 and he was told that he had to paid $400 to get his S10 back because the B-pillar could not be returned. Salvage Yard said the B-pillar cost was usually between $75-$125 ($150 Max) but they could not give out other customer's transaction details. He had to have his truck to get to work, so his mom had to run down to Reeder's and pay the $400 even though no work has been done except for their Free Estimate...I couldn't believe they would take so much advantage of a young men just trying to make a living. My family will never take another car again for service at Reeder's (or buy one) and I've been a Chevrolet owner all my life. Two weeks later, the S10 was fixed for $75... Reeder Sold Me A Supersize Lemon I purchased a preowned 2006 Lincoln LS vehicle from Reeder 3 months ago. Two days later, I had major problems and took it back for service repairs. I purchased a preowned 2006 Lincoln LS vehicle from Reeder 3 months ago. Two days later, I had major problems and took it back for service repairs. They put a bandaid on the problem, and off I drove. A few days later, the engine light came on again and the car was shaking badly, wouldn't pull a hill, it sounded like a hot rod, and almost died whenever I made a turn. Once again, I took the car in for repairs and again they put another bandaid on it. Altogether, I have had the car in Reeder's service department 5 times! I picked it up again this past Friday evening and drove it 3 miles when the engine overheated. I left the vehicle parked in my driveway over the weekend and drove it 1 mile today before it overheated again and the engine coolant light came on. The car sits in my driveway. I asked Reeder Chevy owner, Tom Blake, to do an even trade with the loaner they gave me last week -- for the same price as I paid for the vehicle I currently own. He had my salesman call and imply that was what they were going to do. The salesman called later and told me my payments would be 2xs what I was paying if I took the loaner. I don't believe that Reeder has any intentions of making this situation right. I have lost a lot of revenue because I haven't had a vehicle to drive to meetings and appointments with clients. I contacted the District Attorney's office today and was told to file a police report and bring it to them. I am 66 years old and do not deserve this kind of treatment. Reeder owes me for lost wages as well as for the pain and suffering I have experienced over this. I demand my down payment back (in FULL), and they can have their piece of junk. If they do give me my money back, you can be assured that I will keep an eye on the Internet for the VIN # of this vehicle to see if they try to bamboozle someone else with it. It is a 2006 Lincoln LS, VIN # 1LNHM87A46Y616925. More
My husband and I visited the dealership to look for a newer model used truck. As soon as we stepped on the lot, we were told by Brian they needed to sale some vehicles that weekend and they would do what newer model used truck. As soon as we stepped on the lot, we were told by Brian they needed to sale some vehicles that weekend and they would do whatever it took to earn our business. Two hours later and a bunch of back and forth with the some "great and powerful Oz behind the curtain" type person, they didn't come off the used truck price at all and even offered me less than what trade in is on my vehicle. I was shocked! Especially, since all we heard while we were there was how they were desperate to sale vehicles that weekend! Then Brian acted like we had offended him by not accepting his offer. I will say, what little we dealt with Theresa, she was nice but as soon as her manager stepped in we didn't deal with her anymore. After Brian saw we were not happy, he did offer a little more for my car, but it was so little it wasn't worth it. Actually, it just irritated us more at that point and he never came off the price of the used vehicle. I will never give this dealership another chance to earn my business. If you want to be treated like you don't know elementary math and you like the smoke and mirrors trick, then this is the dealership for you! More
Being in the market for a plug-in hybrid Chevrolet Volt I visited my local dealer (Crossville TN) with disappointing results. That night (Saturday) I visited the Official Chevrolet website and found Reeder C visited my local dealer (Crossville TN) with disappointing results. That night (Saturday) I visited the Official Chevrolet website and found Reeder Chevrolet (Knoxville TN) had a Volt in stock, so as a curiosity I filled out the request for information. The next morning I received an e-mail from Chris Archer at Reeder who invited me to come in that Sunday afternoon and take the Volt for a test ride. When I arrived Chris had the car fully prepped and gave me a detailed tour of the features and capabilities. His knowledge and enthusiasm almost sold me before I even sat inside the car. It is a rare occurrence that a salesman knows more about the car than even the owner’s manual but that is the case with Chris. After our test ride and my decision to purchase, the entire process took less than an hour. Having a competent salesperson like Chris made this new car purchase the smoothest I have ever experienced. It has been a month since I purchased my Chevrolet Volt and the car has been impeccable. The attention to detail that Reeder Chevrolet and Chris gave to prepping the car and making sure I knew how to make the most of all the available features of the Volt has made this new car experience the best ever.
