Will be recommending your salesman to everyone I know who is looking for a new car. More

I have been servicing my Kona here for over 2 years. The only place I go to. It's clean, every one is friendly, and mostly happy to help. I don't really haggle and I pay for whatever they recommend. I f The only place I go to. It's clean, every one is friendly, and mostly happy to help. I don't really haggle and I pay for whatever they recommend. I feel that I met them more than halfway to establish a relationship. One the reasons I choose to go to Hyundai directly is to insure that I stay inside my warranties. I rather have a history of service at a qualified place. There have been a few disappointments. After replacing my air filters and doing a carbon flush in September/ October, I xame back in November for something unrelated and the rep recommended I do it again. I said that is weird to have to do so often- it was previously done at my last visit. asked if he looked at my car vet. He said no and that it's iust a recommendation. That did not make sense to me. How can you recommend something without actually checking if I need it? More recently, I purchased 4 brand new Hankook tires. About $1000 plus service and whatever else. Less than a week later, i had a flat but when I went to change to the spare, the wheel lock key was missing. We looked everywhere and so I had to get a tow back to Hyundai. I'll take some responsibility for this since I didn't check for the wheel lock when they gave me back my car. When I spoke to Gustavo, he said so and so might have forgotten. After thinking some more, he said that they do not touch my wheel lock and that they have a master. That's fine. I still had the original wheel lock packaging with part number so I paid out of pocket for the exact key. When I called back to check whether I needed to switch it out, Gustavo was out and a different rep told me it would be $215 to break my lock and put on a new one. When I asked why do you have to break it when you have a master, my call was escalated. The director said that $215 is for the labor. I asked that Gustavo call me back. If I am going to get charge, I would like to hear it from him. He never called back. Just so everyone is clear. Because I bought the same exact part, there is no need to break my lock. The new key replica will open it. Which I tried and it worked. My concern is how hurt for cash is Red Mccombs to be charging their customers for bullsh*t? Red McCombs is everywhere and I cannot imagine that they are in some kind of financial distress - over $215. I am looking into other certified places but it is hard. Red McCombs own everything. I would only recommend coming here if you have someone close looking out for you so you aren't charged for dumb things. More
