The highlight of going into Ray Skillman NE is working with Jay. The couple of interactions I’ve had with him didn’t make me feel like I was just a number to him, he made me feel like family. My salesman, Carlos Pena, was actually the best sales experience of purchasing a vehicle I've had since 2019 at that store. That experience alone was okay at best, but afterwards on my next vehicle, in 2 experience of purchasing a vehicle I've had since 2019 at that store. That experience alone was okay at best, but afterwards on my next vehicle, in 2022, that experience was so bad, including the service department, I took a vow to never walk in there again. If I wanted another GMC, I'd privately look on the lot because I live directly across the street and have another dealer get the sale, but ( And a big one ), a gentleman came up and introduced himself as Carlos, went through the motions but proudly admitting that he had just started and listened to exactly what I wanted and was intent on it, and secretly I was trying to get a feel of the amount of pressure and attitude, but ultimately, he got me, and after learning on top of my fear of walking back into that store, I found out no one who was responsible for the predatory sale of my last vehicle was no longer there. As you can guess, I walked in and Carlos found the vehicle I wanted! What's more, the finance manager was superb as well! No pressure, all my decision. Should I mention that Carlos became a friend that day and I took him to lunch the next. The entire vibe of that store changed dramatically in four years and it was great.
