I originally chose Ray Jeep because I wanted to support the Johnsburg family that owns the dealership. I also appreciated that they offer courtesy cars, making service appointments more convenient without the Johnsburg family that owns the dealership. However, I’ve noticed a lot of turnover at the dealership, which I understand given the economy. I recently came in for an oil change and tire rotation, and during the courtesy inspection, I was told my battery would need replacing soon. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize just how soon—I ended up needing a tow just two days later when my car wouldn’t start in the cold. Initially, Ray Jeep told me they couldn’t provide a loaner, which was frustrating. After calling back and speaking to a manager, I was grateful they made an exception and helped me with a courtesy car. That said, I do have upcoming repairs that will require another rental through Enterprise, and I’m hoping that process won’t be a hassle. Overall, I appreciate Ray Jeep’s local roots and service perks, but I wish communication and consistency were stronger. More
Went in for routine maintenance and a rear wiper arm replacement on my 2021 Durango. The appointment went well and as expected. The wiper arm was in stock. There is nothing that differentiates you like providing additional service at no additional cost. I got a car wash. Thank you, but everyone gives a car wash. We want real price competition or really step up the service for the money we pay, and I don't mean a free toaster either. Also, the amount and number of fees are ridiculous. All the disposal and shop fees are just greedy. The days of Covid are over and it is time you start realizing you are not in the driver's seat anymore. The customer is. More

I went in for an oil change. I was the first one in the dealership at 7:00 AM. I told them I was waiting for the car. One hour and 45 minutes later I had not heard from my ser I was the first one in the dealership at 7:00 AM. I told them I was waiting for the car. One hour and 45 minutes later I had not heard from my service rep. I went to the service rep area to ask how much longer and noticed my car was outside and finished. My rep was nowhere in sight. Another rep asked if he could help me and I said yes I would like to get my car and go home. He then helped me pay my bill and move on. I think 1 hour and 45 minutes for an oil change is excessive. I also feel the rep had no respect for my time. I also did not like the way we try to upsell services that I know are “recommend “ but not part of the service schedule in the owner’s manual. I don’t mind being reminded about routine service but I get skeptical of recommendations when they are not part of the manufacturer schedule. It makes me distrust the advisor. More
