Lacy Ford Lincoln Subaru is not the dealer that is closest to my home. However, after an annoying meeting with a sales person at a more local dealer I was more than motivated to drive there to see wha closest to my home. However, after an annoying meeting with a sales person at a more local dealer I was more than motivated to drive there to see what they are about and what they would charge for a new car. The result was definitely worth the trip. The price was very acceptable; everyone was down-to-earth and friendly. Chris, my salesman, made an extra effort to make sure that he understood what I wanted and (even though I had done a lot of research) that I understood all my options. A Lacy sales manager even addressed my concern about the distance, my work schedule and servicing by assuring me that when I bring my car to be serviced, they’ll set me up in an office with online access and I can just keep working. That solved that concern. Even so I went back to the local dealer to offer them a second chance The second sales person I spoke with did not come close on every count to the superb service (and price) Chris and the Lacy personell had provided me. After confirming that I wanted to buy the car from Lacy, Chris made an extra effort to find my car at another dealer so I would not have to wait 6 to 8 weeks.He found one and I brought the car home, less than a week after I ordered it. More
Jared Giordiano did an amazing job selling me my car. I had gone to two other ford dealerships before him and thought he was by far the best. He showed me 2 different cars that I wanted to see. He showed me them in different packages and even worked out some price plans for me. He also followed up with me and sent me emails about the cars I had looked at. He showed me a lot of respect and I appreciated that. Jared Giordiano also worked very hard to get the car and my lease signed as quick as possible. That was really helpful and nice also! He was overall just a great salesperson. More
I started my search over the internet. Kristen contacted me and gave me some prices over the phone and a range for my trade in. She set up an appointment for me, and had me meet Jim Lacy. Jim met me and spent some time with me and handed me off to Matt. Matt had both cars I was interested in warmed up and waiting for me. We took extensive test drives in both. I knew I wanted a Forester, but we needed to evaluate my trade in. I had a price in mind based on research I had done. The sales price and my trade in allowance were both agreed to. This is the first time I have ever felt that my expectations were met and exceeded by a car dealer. The total experience starting with the phone call from Kristen, meeting the owner Jim and the total transaction with Matt, and lets not forget Robert who took my money, was no pressure total satisfaction. This is the first review I have ever written, but I find myself looking for them more often to view complaints about an establishment. I was a bit skeptical about the flawless reviews Lacy Subaru had, but no BULL, these folks are the real thing. Thanks all. We first came to Lacy Subaru for a factory recall on our older forester. The professionalism and courtesy and efficiency of the service staff at that time convinced us to return when we wanted to purchase a older forester. The professionalism and courtesy and efficiency of the service staff at that time convinced us to return when we wanted to purchase another car. We returned several months later and spoke with Bret Lawton in sales. We were not sure if we wanted a new or "gently used" pre owned Subaru. Bret was very kind and respectful, and answered all of our questions regarding price and availability. We made a decision to get a new forester confident that we got a great deal. All the details of the transaction were handled smoothly and made the purchase so easy. We want to thank Bret for everything he did for us. BTW, John Luvera explained all of the warranty options clearly and without pressure. More
This review of customer service may be seen as ridiculous to a company COE or dealership owner, but in a world where customer service can be at best rude, rushed, and insincere, my experience at Lacey should to a company COE or dealership owner, but in a world where customer service can be at best rude, rushed, and insincere, my experience at Lacey should be found everywhere and set an example. On a Sunday morning I went to look at a Subaru and did not even know that the dealership was open. From the very moment that I answered Matt Devlin's question of "may I help you" with a "yes. I am interested in a Subaru Forrester" he went to work for me and never stopped until I had the car I wanted. Matt is a genuine person that works to sell cars, but he also cares about the person that he is selling the car to. His disposition, cheerful, and friendly demeanor was very inviting and made me want to deal with only him. Matt never pressured me, listened to my banter and to my purchase concerns and took me in the right direction, with knowledgeable ease of the cars and put me into what I wanted. While I waited one day for him to find my car he kept in contact with me and made sure he was doing the right thing. At the signing, when I picked up the car I spent 2 hours there talking and learning about the car and had his undivided attention. That may seem like along time but I needed the instruction and he just did it. The other employees there laughed with us and became involved as they were able as I can be quite animated and verbose. Matt not only sold me my new car, but while there I felt a low blood sugar event coming on and when I asked if there was a snack machine and told him what was going on --he gave me his dinner that he had brought from home and made sure I was okay. As I ate we talked about the handmade Rosary that my son had knotted many years ago and the veterans flower that I brought to put in the car. I recently lost my father and told him about his funeral and as Matt and I signed papers and talked, he listened so intently that he became visibly emotional with my story and grief. Matt Devlin is a great person, who does his job so well yet never loses his heart or personality. I left that showroom to get in my new car and those that were not busy came over to wish me well and either shake my hand or give me a hug. This relationship with a car dealership will long stand in my memory and I would recommend Matt Devlin to anyone. If only there were more Matt's. Thank you for this opportunity. More
We had no intentions of purchasing a vehicle that day we stopped in to this dealership. We were there to get prices and then go home and make sure it was what we wanted. After test driving 2 vehicles, hearing the trade price for our car and the price of the new car, we were sold. Bret was not a pushy salesman which is what we like. We don't like feeling that we are being pushed into a decision. The dealership in general has a very positive vibe about it. We were very comfortable in our decision to purchase right then and there, it felt right. We were introduced to the Service Manager and were able to ask questions about the service department since we have never been in this dealership before. We have recommended R. C. Lacey to friends and relatives alike and will keep recommending them. To top it off we love the car. We have always been 100% Chevy drivers, but no more:) More
