Miguel is the man! I initially started looking for a brand new 2018 Subaru and my first stop was Serramonte Subaru. At first, I thought they were going to help me like they promised to deliver what I wanted but what made it worse was they never responded to my emails or voice messages. I was frustrated and furious at the time but then there came Miguel the savior at Putnam Subaru. Miguel and his team were patient with my endless questions and inquiries about the models and finance/lease options. Car shopping can be a headache sometimes but my experience with Miguel and Putnam was more than awesome. I can't be more thankful. I would DEFINITELY recommend this dealership to anyone who's interested in buying a Subaru. More
Disappointing service. I have generally had good service from Putnam Burlingame but this last visit was a bit disappointing. I took my Subaru in for a noise in the steering I have generally had good service from Putnam Burlingame but this last visit was a bit disappointing. I took my Subaru in for a noise in the steering column but they were not able to find it and said to bring it back next time. As soon as I pulled out of the dealership the noise was there. Not sure why they were not able to find it. More

Big difference from previous advisor, that he told me that he was going to call me back and he never did. Awesome service (thanks for the bagel!) I had my car serviced here on Tuesday, it was supposed to last 2hours so I stayed and worked on my laptop thanks to the free Wi-Fi provided at the wai I had my car serviced here on Tuesday, it was supposed to last 2hours so I stayed and worked on my laptop thanks to the free Wi-Fi provided at the waiting area. I was starving so I ate a piece of bagel, it was fresh and awesome. Then the guy taking care of me came back and told me that the car needed some serious work. I got a loaner car in no time and went back to my job. Car was fixed in the 2 days they promised, return the loaner car and had overall a fantastic experience. More

Maintenance for lube, oil, filter, tires Isaac and Achilles were very helpful at getting my car serviced. They told me it would take about 2 hours and it did! Brought to my attention that my Isaac and Achilles were very helpful at getting my car serviced. They told me it would take about 2 hours and it did! Brought to my attention that my brakes by the next service time should be replaced but we’re good until then. Having that forewarning is helpful to budget! They also washed my car as part of the service! More

Fantastic Service I had two scheduled appointments back to back with no room for error between getting my car serviced and me being expected somewhere else. I explained this and they expedited service of my car by engaging multiple people to work on my car simultaneously. They got me out the door right on time. I really appreciated it. More
Problematic Battery Requiring Multiple Jump Starts. My car had required to be jump start multiple times after 16 months, especially after sitting 5 days not driven. It was brought into Putnam for servic My car had required to be jump start multiple times after 16 months, especially after sitting 5 days not driven. It was brought into Putnam for service and battery issue on 8/31/16. Per technicians, the trunk lights have been known to drain battery when in auto mode. So, I placed all interior lights in the off position. I was scared/nervous to approach my car in the middle of the night because all the interior lights are off. I went with a new car to avoid the stress factors of owning a used car. Subaru America was contacted regarding dead battery issue, was given a voucher for a free battery. But, I didn't use the voucher, because I trusted/believed in Putman service dept. Again, dead battery issue was brought to the attention of service dept. on 3/2/17, then 1/24/18. Each time the battery passed the test and had more power than the norm, according to the technicians. If this is the case, why then does the battery frequently is dead??? On 3/22/18 the car was dead after sitting 3-5 days at Sunny Auto Shop for body work. Manager there was shocked, couldn't believe that this car is completely dead!!! On May 9, 2018 it failed the test. The service manager refused to change the battery at no cost to me because now the warranty has expired, and it's only 2 weeks past expiration!!!! THIS BATTERY SHOULD OF BEEN CHANGED on 3/2/17, if not then, it should of been done on 1/24/18!!! I had to contact Subaru America (once again) to cover the cost for new battery. IT IS LOUSY OF PUTNAM service depart. to not cover this battery since it had been problematic when car was less than 2 years old. This is a poor and inconsiderate judgement call in customer servicing!!! Service dept. manager would benefit from recognizing that covering the cost of a battery is insignificant to Putman customer service as a whole. I had had high regards and had recommended Putman in Burlingame to multiple colleagues because of my past positive experiences from sales to service dept. One of the colleagues bought her Forester from Putnam in Burlingame. But, after May 9, 2018 experience, I'm doubtful to recommend and/or return to Putnam Subaru. Thank you for your time. More
