Return with my wife so she could do the same (we ended up making a deal that day) 3. Fill out remaining paperwork for financing 4. Take delivery/go over features (same day as #3) Visit 1 - Tuesday: Initially, I went to the dealer pretty much knowing what I wanted (2011 GTI), and knowing a lot about the car, having been a previous VW/Audi owner and enthusiast. Sean was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the cars. He seemed to know the cars inside and out and share the "enthusiast" attitude. Overall I got a very positive feeling from the initial experience. In fact, I later told my wife that I did not even want to go to a different VW dealer because I wanted to deal with Sean (Princeton is close to work, but other dealers are closer to home). I decided to return with my wife so she could see the car. Visit 2 - Saturday): We arrived and were quickly able to take the car out on another test drive. Sean answered all of our questions with ease. We then returned and decided to see what kind of a deal we could make, and if we could find the car I wanted (what I was initially looking for was not on the lot). Sean was adept at aiding my search for the car I wanted. Subsequently, after only finding a car at another dealer, we inquired about a 2012 on the lot. Both Sean and Robert quickly made a very reasonable deal to get me into the car that I wanted. I filled out some paperwork and made plans to come back that Monday to finalize things. Visit 3 - Monday: When I came back to finalize paperwork after my credit had been approved, Joe Lanni had all of the paperwork ready to go. They had informed me prior that the process would take about an hour. In all honestly it took about half that amount of time. Joe's preparedness saved me time and I appreciate that. I was also informed that the car was being detailed and would be ready that evening. I made plans to pick it up then. Visit 4 - Monday evening: Picked up the car. Sean gave me the keys, paperwork, and went over some features (which was very helpful) but to be honest, I was kind of in a rush so I had to cut him short. More than once he offered assistance with any features, "any time" I might wish to return. I may just take him up on that. The car was very clean and looked great. (on later inspection some of the wheels still had some protective film on them but I was able to wipe that off pretty easily. I'm typically meticulous with my cars so this was not an issue). Each time I visited the dealership, Sean was very helpful and courteous. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and willing to help or offer a refreshment. (I did not work with Jackie on this purchase, but she was very nice while I was there). The entire process was very smooth, and I felt no pressure at all to purchase the car. I actually have to say it was the best automobile purchase experience I've ever had (second would be the first VW I bought new in 1997). The only minor negative experience I encountered was that one of my keys was missing a battery! I quickly remedied this myself. No harm done, but an unnecessary expense nonetheless. I could not be happier with my new GTI and I will most certainly recommend Princeton VW/Audi to anyone in the market for such a vehicle. On a side note, some other cars I was considering buying, which lost out to the VW were: Mini Cooper Countryman (new) Subaru WRX (new) 2008-2010 Lexus IS 250 (certified pre-owned) 2008-2010 Audi A4 (certified pre-owned) I chose the VW for its abundance of standard and premium features, at a lower price, the high quality of construction and interior, and for the abundant interior room and hatchback utility. One might not think of all of these cars as potential competitors, so I figured I'd provide some insight. Thank you More
Most luxury car dealers treat you like an afterthought when you are buying what some salesman would consider an "entry-level" car in a showroom stocked with cars selling at twice the price of your choice. when you are buying what some salesman would consider an "entry-level" car in a showroom stocked with cars selling at twice the price of your choice. Not Enrico and Princeton Audi. I was treated like an important customer, even though I got what I consider to be a great deal that might not have "a lot in it" for the dealer. Ii will return to Princeton Audi for my next purchase, and encourage others to do the same. More

In all, I would strongly recommend this dealership and Sonya in particular. I was especially impressed with how quick the process was once I decided to buy the car given some of the reviews on this site about speed of this dealership in particular. My experience was all positive. More
My car is a 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet. It is a convertable car, which is 8 years old but in excellant condition. I noticed recently that the glass window in the top was seperating from the cloth. Not a very g car, which is 8 years old but in excellant condition. I noticed recently that the glass window in the top was seperating from the cloth. Not a very good situation. I went to Audi of Princeton, and showed it to Troy the Manager. He took pictures of the top, and informed me that he would try to get Audi to cover the expense on a goodwill basis, and get it replaced for free. Well Audi is going to cover it and the work is being done right now. I really appreciate it and I am very pleased he could help. More

My husband and I decided to "look" at the VW Touareg this past Memorial Day Weekend. Note this was our first time looking at this vehicle. At the time we were current owners of a 2009 Jetta an Touareg this past Memorial Day Weekend. Note this was our first time looking at this vehicle. At the time we were current owners of a 2009 Jetta and very happy with our current vehicle. Our search began with a friendly conversation with Sonya Sestito at the Princeton VW dealership. She greeted us with a gentle smile and a not in your face sales approach. We began with a "we are just looking" type of approach and discussed the Touareg, our options and looked at the used models on the lot. We finished our visit with two test drives of two different used models and walked away feeling more interested but not necessarily 100% interested. Sonya did not make us feel as if we were "walking away" from a deal but rather as consumers leaving the dealership more informed. She was so gracious and detailed with our inquiries that it was her follow up that brought us back to the lot about two weeks later. And as a result of her excellent communication skills and knowledge, my husband and I began to seriously consider and ultimately purchased a new (not used) Touareg! Please note that we live in Brooklyn, NY far from an easy and convenient drive to Princeton. The reason we went to this specific dealership is because we had experienced great customer service with our Jetta's maintenance appointments and we had happened to be in the area on the day of our initial visit. The following day, back in NY, we decided to check out the more conveniently located and new, Open Road Volkswagen Manhattan. Big mistake. When we arrived, a group of about five salesmen were our out in front of the dealership's entrance smoking. When we walked in they all followed us in and one gentleman greeted us from behind instead of greeting us as we walked into the show room. His approach was very in your face and he seemed somewhat rushed because we were a "just looking" client. In addition, the quotes he gave us were unrealistic and furthered the stereo type of the sleazy car salesman. Also, he took our information and never contacted us as a follow up. As a result, they lost a potential sale and lost any and all future business of our as loyal VW customers. More
