Dear Carolyn, After several attempts to try to make this right for you I'm truly sorry to see that we couldn't come to a resolution that satisfied you. Although it seems strange that a dealership would actually want to help someone who we could see was driving a very unsafe vehicle, that is all we tried to do. From discounting our vehicle, during a vehicle shortage, to offering several times to give you back your unsafe vehicle and unwind the deal, because that's what you said you wanted. We are confident that helping you get into the newer car, that was free from safety concerns(unlike your trade) and keeping you as close to the payment that you were currently making (on a 2 year older car) was the best and safest option for you, given your circumstances. I feel confident in my staff and the Management team that this was clearly a misunderstanding and in no way did we set out to maliciously take advantage of you. After speaking with you several times I was under the impression that you felt the same and that your intention was to remove this negative review, however, at this time you still have not done that and are now telling me you will not. As always Pride Hyundai wishes you the best of luck in the future.

The last time we attempted to speak to you in regard to this issue, my wife was told that she owed your people an apology for bringing this concern of ours to your attention. So, I hope you understand how much faith I have in the usefulness of that conversation. Your staff did not leave us with the impression that they were anything but totally comfortable with what they did, and how they did it. Secondly, I had an ASC certified mechanic check on the battery, spark plugs, brakes and engine/cabin air filter which your technician all said needed to be replaced. As far as the brakes were concerned, I was told by one of your advisors that they were worn down to the black level (he used the rating device on top of the desk). According to the other mechanic, the brakes were fine as well as the battery. The only thing that needed to be done was the replacement of the air filters and the spark plugs. I interpret that as attempting to up-charge me. Lastly, when I attempted to contact your owner, she didn’t get back to me and neither did anyone else. That all by itself spoke volumes of how important I am as a customer. You may try to contact me about any of this, but there are two things that are absolutely not going to happen: my wife and I aren’t apologizing for anything and second I’m not calling/chasing after you. You want to talk, send me an email and we talk about it all in writing. Outside of that, I have no interest in doing business with your dealership in the future.
