The service department is awful. We bought two different plans, one for the car and 1 for the truck. First, you make an appointment and still have to wait depending on how many drive in oil changes there are. We’ve had 2 problems that we “know” of. The program was for oil, tire rotation and 27 point inspection. That is a laugh. One time they said they wouldn’t/didn’t rotate tires because we needed at least 2 new tires. First, they should come find you, ask if you still wanted them rotated. They have no idea what our thoughts are on that. Next..on the truck they checked every box on their inspection form. Not even a week later, husband was checking out something in the area of the filter and surprised there was a squirrel nest, complete with nuts etc. Had to have been for quite some time. Took pictures and actually took it in and service MANAGER says he’s sorry.Has a lot of new guys and they must have missed it. That is our problem? We paid good money for the plan expecting good and COMPLETE service. Brought the car in for service. We were having a problem with it making a squealing noise and a clunking noisewhen turning l. Asked them to check it out. Pick it up, said all was good, again inspection report had all things checked. Take it home, next day squealing/clunking noise still there. You tube university here we come! First thing to check, steering fluid. Well guess what, barely a drop in there - 2 days after service was done. Then you start wondering what else did they miss. Get the opinion email to fill out saying they hoped we could give them all 5’s. In both these instances we could not. Reached out by e-mail, NO RESPONSE. Actually got a second one, replied again by email- no response. In March I sent another e-mail. Response THANK YOU!!! (not sure for what)) Will NEVER take our vehicles to this dealership. Bought a used car "As Is" bought the warranty with the car because I'm a single mom and I need a dependable car. Have had the car for six months, the check engine light came on while driving home from t car because I'm a single mom and I need a dependable car. Have had the car for six months, the check engine light came on while driving home from the dealership. Has been on ever since. I get one problem fixed another happens. So far I have put over $5000.00 into trying to get it fixed. The warranty I bought covered an $400.00 repair. Have left messages for the Used Car Manager over the last month (at least 7 messages) haven't received a call back from him at all. Talked to Salesman (Ryan) and Eric which have at least listened to me and tried to help. So far I haven't been able to drive my car for about 20 days while it was in the shop. I wish they would take the car fix the problem, let me use a loaner and get to the bottom of the problem. When I purchased the car I asked, if they ran it for codes and the salesman said I'm sure they did and they would of fixed the problem. If they did they would of fixed them. Weird, that the engine light came on 40 miles away driving home. It is sad that companies do not stand behind there products or even take the time to call you back. More
OK, this review and poor rating is a result of my experience from my previous review, in which I downgraded a positive rating to a lower because the vehicle I had used my entire savings on only last experience from my previous review, in which I downgraded a positive rating to a lower because the vehicle I had used my entire savings on only lasted 7 months, driven less than 4,000 miles. In response to the downgraded review I was invited to contact the dealership to discuss. I responded by email to "cpelfresne@drivepreferred.com " on May 10th, and to date they have not contacted me. Yet they send me promos and ads to my email weekly. I can't be more disgusted or disappointed with this dealership. Even an "as is" vehicle should last longer than 7 months when it's supposedly been inspected, and cost over $10,000. My advice, do NOT purchase a used vehicle from this dealership unless you first take it to an independent garage for an inspection. I lost everything in this deal, and at age 70, on a fixed income, it's almost impossible to come back from a loss like this. More
I originally gave them a good review when I purchased my car in 2021. I stand by my positive comments about the salesman, who really seemed invested in helping me get into a safe, reliable vehicle. I ha car in 2021. I stand by my positive comments about the salesman, who really seemed invested in helping me get into a safe, reliable vehicle. I had explained that I was investing all my savings to purchase a car that I hoped would see me through until I could no longer drive. Given that I had my last car for 20 years, and I'm 70 now, that didn't seem impossible. I was shown a 2011 Subaru Outback with low miles, in beautiful condition, and in my price range. It seemed perfect. Subaru's have an excellent safety and reliability rating so I went with it. However, I only drove it for seven months, less than 4,000 miles, when the brakes had to be replaced...over $600. And then the car started overheating, and I was told the head gasket went bad. I was devastated, I'd barely driven it. Since then my dream car has been parked, undrivable. At age 70, with only social security as income, I've not been able to afford repairs. My dissatisfaction is definitely directed towards the mechanics who inspected this car. I realize I bought it "as is", but no car sold by a reputable dealer, that cost over $10,000 should last only 7 months. I would never recommend buying a used car from this company again, unless you're able to have it inspected at a different garage prior to purchasing. Since I was from out of town this wasn't an option for me, but I greatly regret that now. It's really difficult to manage without a car, especially when I thought I was buying the security of a safe, reliable car that would last. More
