Recall Service I received a recall notice in the mail and called for an appointment. I arrived on time and was assisted by Monica Kaatz. She was very professional I received a recall notice in the mail and called for an appointment. I arrived on time and was assisted by Monica Kaatz. She was very professional and patient with me. She explained to me the purpose and the process for possible repairs. She kept me informed from the time that she got my car keys until I was on my way out the door. I believe that she is outstanding with her dealing with the public. I will make sure that I ask for her every time that I have to have any type of service done on the car. More

Swindled on an extended warranty I thought I had a good experience buying a car in 2010. The sales person (actually the business person doing the financial closing) convinced me to pu I thought I had a good experience buying a car in 2010. The sales person (actually the business person doing the financial closing) convinced me to purchase extended warranty when I told him that I keep my cars for many years. This was sold to me for $1,300 as a bumper-to-bumper warranty. After a few years I had maintenance done at another Hyundai dealer and asked if I could use the extended warranty there. They told me that I need to check the policy. Only then I realize that they never gave me a policy, only the sales receipt, which included a "service" line for $1,300. In the following several weeks I tried to contact them by phone and email to solve this problem and always got the run around. Finally, in 2016 my clutch broke and I took the car there. One nice salesperson helped me find the company's name (from 2010) that issued the warranty. At that point I though I was good. Later the service department called me to tell me that a broken clutch is not included in the warranty and it would cost $1,100.00. I fought for a couple of weeks with no success. I always had a manual car and never had a clutch problem. My car is only 35k miles. I must say that the service man, Miguel was great and helpful, but the head of the service department, Carlos Mercado was rude, patronizing and extremely disrespectful when I was trying to explain that I felt swindled by purchasing a $1,300 extended warranty for nothing. I will never go to this place again. More
Simple and Sweet Came in on 12/19/15 @ 7:45am and the line for service was very long to my surprise the line moved quickly and the service team was working hard they w Came in on 12/19/15 @ 7:45am and the line for service was very long to my surprise the line moved quickly and the service team was working hard they were getting customers in and out I waited for my vehical, about two hours not bad considering how long the line was my service advisor was great he handled my oil change and came to me about my wiper blades I have been a customer of Potamkin Hyundai for a number of years services is always good and the sales team is always realistic to help you get into that new car. stressfull The overall experience with this dealer is good but in some areas is stressful, mostly for the amount of sales pitches they throw at you to trade in y The overall experience with this dealer is good but in some areas is stressful, mostly for the amount of sales pitches they throw at you to trade in your vehicle and buy another one, from the time you make your appointment online to when you pick up your vehicle and if they were not able to get you at the dealer they do over the phone. I think is too much and it make the experience sour full. The other problem is that they do not have a body shop and if you need that type of repair they end up sending you to an independent shop or you need to drive out of your way to another dealer. I have no complain at the quality of the vehicle or the work performed also the service and other personnel is very attentive and helpful, specialty the service advisors, from the moment you walk in they treat you with respect and professionalism. If they curb down the amount of sales pressure if would be a great auto dealer. More
Work not done, but charged nevertheless. Went in for oil change & tire rotation. Tires were not rotated. Not even the air pressure was checked. I know because I always leave a mark on the tires to check people's honesty. In Miami, that's become a necessity. Guess what? This dealer's service dept. failed that test. Makes you doubt whether the oil was even changed at all. My advice: Have a way to verify any service done and avoid this dealership because they failed my honesty test. Being friendly is never a sign of honesty. More
