I put a deposit on a unit that has been in the dealer's showroom for months. After having spoken with the salesman via phone and text I was very clear that I wanted everything possible handled beforehand showroom for months. We, (I thought) squared away everything except the trade in offer. I even sent a very detailed e-mail with the COMPLETE pricing breakdown (with trade to be determined) and asked that if there was any disagreement with my numbers to please call me so we can smooth it out BEFORE I made the trip to NYC. The sales representative did not confirm or deny my breakdown. Once I got to the dealer and we sat down, the selling number (purchase price of the vehicle) changed! I was told that I misunderstood and was trying to take advantage! The manager sat down and was the rudest, most argumentative person I have ever met. I cannot even fathom how this man is in a business that is supposed to be about customer relation or service. I was basically yelled at by him and chased out in my opinion. He continued to try and verbally pressure me as well as try to impress upon me that "I was passing up on a good deal." The fact of the matter was they lured me in with a price and attempted to dramatically change that price or rather the change the parameters of the price. They tried to make me feel that I did not know what I was doing when in fact they just did not want to accept they were caught trying to pull fast one. They were trying to make it appear they were making concessions on the purchase price when in fact, I would have been paying very close to "sticker price." They told me the "cash incentive" was built in already. When I questioned how that was possible since the "cash incentive" had changed from the previous week during my initial conversation to the day I came in for the meeting (it had increased) they couldn't answer me. What they did is not illegal but it is grossly unethical. I checked with GMC itself to determine whether or not they violated any rules but unfortunately they did not. Because they conveniently omitted information regarding the transaction they didn't actually lie. I did not and will not EVER do business with this dealer. They do not deserve a red cent for what they tried to pull nor do they deserve the credit for the sale in my express opinion. I am very unhappy with my experience with them and traveled a very long way for nothing! More
Purchased a new 07 truck from here. Was a very easy and seamless transaction. Took about ~3 hours or so from when I walked in generally knowing what I wanted until I drove off the lot. Dont remember my sales reps name but he was very very helpful and gave me an insanely good deal with tons of extras thrown in. I was treated top notch from when I walked in the door until I drove off in my new truck. Highly recommend this place def good to go! More
I would rather have needles placed in my eyes then have to deal with Potamkin. I placed a mark on a part they told me needed replacement. When I picked the car up, the invoice stated part replaced, but i to deal with Potamkin. I placed a mark on a part they told me needed replacement. Another visit, experienced empty tank and dead battery. These Guys are the absolute worst. More
