Told him the features and my requirements for the car and showed me my best option was the new 2017 Acadia Limited. He went step by step with the process. He always got back to us with updates and he answered all our questions when we called him. I would go back to him to purchase another car. He made the process of purchasing the car super easy. I will highly rate him for anyone to purchase a car. More

My salesman, Squire McNear, was very straightforward and helpful in the process. The pre-owned manager, Lou Romano, was wonderful to deal with. What has really stood out about the service in working with Potamkin is the after-purchase support. There were several minor items of work to be done after I purchased the car (removing some tint, buffing a scratch, fixing a key) -- had to take it on faith that after I paid for the car the work would be done. In the end, the work was compeleted on a timely basis and the quality exceeded my expectations. Also, the team at Potamkin has consistently been prompt, thorough and diligent in all of my dealings with them. A very nice experience and would recommend them to anyone. More
worst dealership in nyc!!!! If there was a option to write a review with zero stars I would have written the following review without giving this place a rating at all, but regr If there was a option to write a review with zero stars I would have written the following review without giving this place a rating at all, but regrettably I have to give this establishment one star just to be able to write my review, but in no shape or form should this star be seen as a reflection of even minimal satisfaction for the service I received at this dealership. I was referred to Potamkin by a friend who is in the leasing industry. He told me that they are a competent and professional business where customer service is at the pinnacle of their business code. Expecting great customer service, I couldn't have been more disappointed. My initial interaction with the staff was pleasant. They showed a willingness and enthusiasm to take me on as a customer. I wanted to get a luxury vehicle to suit my personal and business requirements. I've had my eye on the newly remodeled 2015 Escalade. The vehicle was delivered with the specifications I ordered in due time and that's where everything changed. My dealings with Potamkin has been a living nightmare since. A couple of months after I received the Escalade I started experiencing vehicular software problems. In addition some of the features that I had custom ordered ceased to function properly. I turned to the dealership and they suggested I bring in the truck for service. I left the truck at the dealership for a weekend, since I cant afford to be without a vehicle during the work week, with the promise that the vehicle will be in operational condition by the next week. My first order of business for Monday morning was to pick up my vehicle, naively expecting that it will be all fixed and waiting for me to be picked up. To my dismay, upon arrival at the dealership the vehicle was not fixed. The first "excuse" I received was that since its a brand new vehicle which runs on a new software OS they need more time to figure out the defects that my car had. I accepted that as a valid excuse but I was incensed at the tardiness with which they handled it, I wasted 3 hours just to get to the dealership when a simple phone call or email over the weekend could have avoided me having to waft through Manhattan during the morning rush hour. When I expressed my disappointment at the lack of communication I was told that a representative attempted to call me but couldn't reach me.... This was a blatant lie as I never received a missed call from the dealership, neither a voice mail. I can go on and on in paragraph after paragraph detailing the clumsiness and at times complete lack of business ethics and acumen with which Potamkin operates, but in an effort to keep this review somewhat short Ill just state the rye facts which transpired thereafter. I was left without my truck for another week, after I was told that it will only take another day to fix. I was finally told that I can come pick it up. Within a week of picking it up the issues I was experiencing before the service call returned and this time I had 2 new issues that seemingly, without getting too technical, to be a product of the mechanic butchering the repair due to basic incompetence. I have been in and out of Potmamkin for service for the past half a year. I was lied to, deceived, charged for services that wasn't delivered. At one of my service trips to Potamkin I paid a thousand dollars for a repair, I sit into my car and to my astonishment the repair was simply not done!! At another visit the manager had the audacity to insult my intelligence and tell me that "its my fault". I've never had such a bad experience with any business I have dealt with. To insinuate that I was intentionally or even if only unintentionally breaking my car was a new level of abuse I would have never imagined possible. I have wasted hours in unproductive work days, money and fees for undelivered services basically due to a lack of professionalism and honesty which should be the standard modus operandi of any business establishment. I would not recommend anyone to deal with this dealership, and I would dissuade anyone who is entertaining to become their customer. In addition, if Cadillac is serious about competing with the European luxury brands they should cut ties with dealers like Potamkin. More
Mr. Scott was very helpful and spent lots of time with me when I drove in from Starke to look at this car. He was very thourough in showing me all the bells and whistles on the Altima. The financing process when I drove in from Starke to look at this car. He was very thourough in showing me all the bells and whistles on the Altima. The financing process was very quick and painless. Everyone seems knowledgable about what they are doing. I have had bad experiences at other dealerships. The worst being when I was called AFTER I had driven the car off the lot saying that I would have to come up with an additional $500 down, or my payments would increase, and weeks later being told I would have to buy a new tag since the one I had was not eligible for transfer. I have a feeling they aren't in business anymore, but overall I was very impressed with the service I received from Mr. Scott and all the associates at the dealership. More

My engin was removed from the car and I was told by the Service Associate it would take several days.It is now the evening of July 16th and the work on my car has not even begun because an adjustor from the warrantee company has not approved the work. I am now told that it will be at least another week before the car is ready. Even though the Warantee is from an Independent Company, It was purchased, recommended and provided by a Potamkin salesman. I was advised by my attorney that it is their responsibility to do the work Potamkin Cadillac acted as an agent for the Warrantee Company and it is their responsibility to honor the contract.. They gave me the run around and told me it would be another week to get the part in and they wouldn't give me a loaner car. It took three days of leaving messages for the entire service department, including the manager! Sales was wonderful but don't take your car to be serviced there! The gentleman that I was waiting in the lounge with (they have a cafe where you can buy coffee/snacks/water while most dealers offer it for free) brought his car in for a tune-up and left with a $1,000+ bill.
