I took my car in to get the water pump replaced. They tried to schedule me without having the part in stock or checking to see. Once I checked that it wasn’t in stock, I ordered it myself. They quoted me $540 and then once I dropped the car off, texted me to tell me it was going to be $1100 because they wanted to replace the thermostat, which I just replaced a couple months ago, along with a bunch of other add ons that I did not need. I'm picky. I spent several months shopping for a vehicle, dealt with numerous dealerships within 100 miles of my home. I turned down buying a trucks that I actually liked from other dealers because they were dealt with numerous dealerships within 100 miles of my home. I turned down buying a trucks that I actually liked from other dealers because they were so slimy to deal with—adding thousands of dollars of unnecessary "dealer add ons", holding my key hostage on my trade-in when I decided I didn't want to buy from them, not treating me as a serious buyer, etc. I had a great experience at Posner. My first visit was with Michael, he was extremely courteous, and when I told him I had another truck I wanted to see at another dealership, he didn't pressure me to buy from him, and neither did his sales manager—big plus. I hate being pressured. Most dealers will do whatever they can to not let you walk out the door. On the day I decided to buy, Joseph was my sales rep and handled everything quickly and professionally. The finance manager offered additional services like warranties, but didn't pressure me to buy like every other dealer I've bought from. More
