Excellent customer service Randy met us on the lot and was friendly and professional. I explained what I wanted and the color. He was able to locate a electric blue Spark that was on its way to the dealership. He then asked if I wanted to test drive. Since it was raining, I declined and said would prefer it the next day. He said no problem and we made an appt. The next day, we met and I drove a Spark and decided to sign for the Electric Blue. I then met Tim, the financial guy, who also was friendly and knowledgeable and took good care if us. I would highly recommend Porter to my family and friends due to the professionalism and friendliness of Randy & Tim. More
Bad Car buying experience I bought a Chevy from them in 2001, it was an ok experience. My salesperson at the time Ken Perdue was excellent, but the managers were a nightmar I bought a Chevy from them in 2001, it was an ok experience. My salesperson at the time Ken Perdue was excellent, but the managers were a nightmare to deal with. I was going to give them another chance to earn my business, however they were rude and unkind; they told me that I was not allowed on the premises (I guess due to my many visits to shop for cars or whatever) I would NOT recommend them to anyone. I would give these crooks a negative zero if I could. You just lost a customer and a sale. Porter Automotive should be called Crook Automotive, because that's what they are a bunch of low-life crooks who will never earn my business EVER!!!!! P.S. they do more for those were screwing the State System and with lower credit scores than mine, especially those who spend $1000 on sneakers, but don't pay their car notes or their rent vs. myself a student works his fingers to the bone. They need to be trained in Ethics and Empathy also More
Had my non-starting Cobalt towed in for a new fuel pump. Well, it was running when i picked it up so I assumed they did a good job. However, 2 weeks later, it died when i was in another state 350 miles from Well, it was running when i picked it up so I assumed they did a good job. Turns out the "new" fuel pump they installed had 0 pressure and the clips and connections in the gas tank that they were supposed to change as well, were disconnected, and the bracket clip around the fuel line was just dangling there, not tightened up. Very DANGEROUS situation, so if you value your life, DON'T chose Porter. More
I bought a used car from Porter Chevrolet and was disappointed when the car's check engine light came on less than 24 hours later. I had the vehicle checked out by a third party then contacted the dealership with all the issues that were discoverd. I was happy that the used car manager, Kevin, was willing to stand by the vehicle and help us resolve the issue. He expressed how important it was for every customer to walk away happy from the dealership. He helped me get the vehicle fixed satisfactory to my standards. Kevin was very professional and kind in dealing with me and my wife during a frustrating time. Greatly appreciated. More
Had taken my car in to have a strange noise investigated. I had arranged to drop my car off on Wednesday evening for them to work on it on Thursday. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to pick up my car that the final cost was $30 less than the initial estimate. More

I drive a 2008 Buick Lucerne. I did not buy the car at this dealership. There service department is second to none. I have been using there service department since I bought the car. The check engine light was on. I left my car at the dealership, they provided a ride to my place of employment. Rich and the service department determined what needed to be done in order to eliminate the problem. I was given an estimated cost of the work to be performed and an estimate when the car would ready. The estimate was accurate and i was picked up by shuttle when the car was ready. I have been using this dealership for service for several years. The entire service department operates efficiently and minimizes my time at the dealership. I have utilized other dealerships over the years but Porter Chevrolet is the best I've used. More
